Yes, I don't like adding extra sugar to my stuffings, cookie dough is sweetened enough. I'm sure that Peanut chips will work amazing for these cookies, I suppose they are colored like peanut butter so they also will be beautiful on top of these brown cookies! Unfortunately they aren't sold here in Italy and I've never seen them :(

@@HowTasty Ciao di Nuovo Bella. Perhaps you can get the P-nut from Amazon. The last treats I made for my former coworkers was chocolate fudge topped with P-nut butter chips. After I made the fudge I just put the chips on top while it was warm and lightly pressed them into the fudge. Hope you have some luck finding the chips. Grazie per La Tua Amicizia. I saw your post but didn't see your video. How can I miss your cookies. Your cookies are always the best, especially the ones with fillings which can be challenging, but you showed a foolproof way by freezing them. Hello and welcome here! I usually store them in a tin cookie box for 5-7 days at room temperature. But you can also store the raw cookie balls in freezer and freshly bake when you need them. In this case you have to bake them for more minutes. Let me know if you try them out! Much love
