If the chocolates melt it’s just a little. All the times I’ve made this cake I still have the chocolate chunks throughout. Hope your cake turns out. It’s my families favorite!!

If you want to have a softer cake, let it cool for a bit longer. Then you can refrigerate it.

Once it’s been frosted it should be refrigerated then can be set out for a while before serving.
