Honestly I have to say. Wow. Hats off to this recipe 👏🏻 I am one to read reviews then try the recipe, however since there wasn't really enough reviews I had to just see for myself. And let me say this is my first time making this kind of bread and it was so delicious. I made some for my husband and my self and he loved it as well. The chocolate and hazelnut mixture is sweet but not too sweet. The bread is the ideal texture a sweet bread I believe should taste like. I gotta say I am shocked that the recipe is so good. But hey.... I appreciate it so much! This is a fairly easy recipe and doesn't require much to make. So I'd say if you're looking for a chocolatey delicious bread, I'd say go for it! You won't be disappointed 😌

Hi! Can I place the babka in the fridge over night, before the 2nd rise?

Im gonna try this recipe. Its not complicated. And i think it is suitable to make in my country; hot tropical weather. Thank you

Finally made this today. Very happy with the result. Dough is easier to handle even before proofing. I use one half of the dough to make a savoury one using whipped butter, cheese, garlic and scallion. Delicious. Thank you.

how can i make the dough in advance?
@worrystone41094 жыл бұрын
hi, so i wanna know if i can just divide the recipe by 1/2 to make only 1 babka. I dont need 2 regular sized ones, but i cant find a recipe anywhere! any tips?
@heyitscee__4 жыл бұрын
I only did the half and it worked amazingly! Or you can make two and only bake one and freeze the other
@WilliamsKitchenEN4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I always make two: bake one and freeze the other 😊

@@heyitscee__ Hi, i want to ask are you also divide the measurement for the yeast into half? or just use the whole packet?

Do we need to put it in the fridge overnight?
@0809micky4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Just wanted to ask if I could half the dough in 2 after the first rise and rolling it out, as I might not have enough space to make such a large rectangle :) thanks
@WilliamsKitchenEN4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, you can 🤗
@diandrahaliza83303 жыл бұрын
hello william👋 i already freeze one of my babka if i want to bake it do i need to unfreeze it first or just bake right away? and also how long does it last in the freezer? thank youu
@WilliamsKitchenEN3 жыл бұрын
Hey there, you can bake it right away from the freezer to the oven 👍 and you can keep for a month or two I would say ✨

what is the size of your tin?
@WilliamsKitchenEN5 жыл бұрын
Hi Gayle, this tin is about 10x4x3 inch (25x10x8 cm). But do not worry, it works if you use a bigger or a smaller pan! 😊

Thank you! My brioche turned out too soft after baking. I might have to try adding less liquid next time.
@jasminesim81564 жыл бұрын
Hi! William...I have been searching for the best babka recipe and I come across your video. You make it seem for easy. From what I have researched, it seemed the most common challenge for babka is the super sticky and soft dough which is so very difficult to handle. Then there’s the chocolate filling which doesn’t seem so easy to spread as shown in all the videos. Now my question is....is your recipe any different?
@diandrahaliza83304 жыл бұрын
is it okay to let the dough overnight on the fridge?
@WilliamsKitchenEN4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can, I would suggest doing so after shaping the babka right before baking 👍🏼
@grk70834 жыл бұрын
Can I only make half the recipe? Is it simply by halving the ingredients?
@WilliamsKitchenEN4 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I suggest freezing one of the two Babkas you will make that way you will only have to bake it straight from the freezer whenever you feel like eating one! 😊

Please note, active dry yeast and instant yeast are entirely two different things.
