Chocolate Lab Puppy Training Walkertown NC - Otis
Otis is a 7 month old chocolate lab puppy who visited us for our residency puppy training program. Very happy go lucky guy who is so strong at such a young age that he could pull me down if I wasn't ready. Having said that, he learned quickly as was upbeat and happy with our leader of the pack dog training process.
It is important that we are careful with young puppies. We want training to be very upbeat and playful with a very light touch. We still provide consequence, but are mindful of being consistent and providing the proper level of touch (consequence). We never over correct or allow our emotions to get the best of us. As our puppy gets older we provide more consistent boundaries and structure.
