Ooh, I’m from Italy and here we have an almost identical recipe, it’s called “salame di cioccolato”. Usually it’s a kids dessert made during Carnival, or we used to make it in kindergarten as a fun activity

It's quite similar to what we have here: Batik Cake (Kek Batik)! But we usually use Marie crackers (or digestives? I don't know what's its equivalent lol) and Milo powder instead of cocoa. It's interesting to see recipes that transcends borders 😁

I love this dessert, it's one of my absolute favorites and yours looks really mouthwatering!😍🤤 I am from Greece and we call this "Kormos" which basically means tree trunk (because it has a round shape and it's brown) or "Salami" for obvious reasons lol We also add walnuts, they give a nice crunch. You should try it the next time!😉

In Lithuania we call this 'tinginys' (lazy cake). I've seen a German version of this too called 'kalt hund' (cold dog) , the only difference is that they stack the crackers

That is very similar to the chocolate biscuit cake that Queen Elizabeth loves..the recipe is really easy to find..the only real difference is that it's formed into a cake shape and then coated in more chocolate after its set.. looks really tasty

This is also a Jewish dessert! We make them with Matzah and eat them during Passover. We call it "chocolate sausage." I didn't know that other cultures make this too. So cool to see!! 😊
