This is interesting. I heard Muk was the byproduct of an unknown Poison legendary Pokemon's influence. The lore says that Team Rocket captured this legendary Pokemon (not knowing it was a legendary Pokemon) and began injecting its DNA into Ditto. The intent was to clone the unknown legendary but it didn't really work out and instead morphed into what is known today as Muk. So technically, Muk is a legendary!

Yeah I would love to see something new with them in a future game/generation! Maybe like dark counterparts. They were a lot of fun to use in previous generations. I remember also using Uxie quite a bit on some of my old trick room teams since it also had access to rocks + memento + magic coat so as a lead it was quite good

My favorite underrated Pokemon is Calyrex. It’s a Restricted Legendary Pokemon for VGC rules, yet it’s ZU in Singles and just atrocious in doubles. However, I enjoy using it with leech seed, sub, protect, and Future Sight + Leftovers. ZU stall beast.

QOTD: Definitely regular Shaymin, it's so underrated. Base 100 stats all around is solid and it's signature move has such high base power and a ridiculous secondary effect - it's hard to believe this thing is ZU. I was using an expert belt Shaymin in the Monotype tier playing mono grass and it feels amazing whenever mono steel leads with Archaludon and then gets destroyed by an earth power, paving the way for Ogerpon-Hearthflame to then destroy mono steel with ivy cudgel. I would love to see Emvee play some competitive Monotype, it's so cool how you have a ZU mon alongside an Ubers mon on the same team 😎

@LordEmvee Dark, Dragon, Steel and Ground I would say are the best types in Monotype right now. Dark has so many fast threats like Darkrai, Meow, Gren. Dragon is also really solid because you can run the double steel core of Archaludon + Goodra-Hisui to ensure fairies can't touch you. Dragon can also use Gouging Fire which is another counter to the fairies. Steel is really solid because you can run the triple immunity core of Heatran + Gholdengo + bird of choice. Hippo + banded Excadrill was so busted on Ground teams they banned smooth rock so now people run eject button and it's still pretty busted imo. Ground also has Water Absorb Clodsire for Water and regular Landorus is allowed.

Choice Band Victini was very good... personally I was a big fan of the mixed set (V-Create, Bolt Strike, Glaciate, Energy Ball) which covered quite a bit. Also Power-Up Punch Victini was one of my favs
