This is just a video showing some Overwatch 2 Top 500 Gameplay where I play Reaper to get to champion in overwatch 2. I am currently a top 500 Reaper player in EU and now a champion reaper. So this video is just some Overwatch 2 top 500 gameplay.
This game was really fun to play with Poko. MY AIM WAS TERRIBLE SOMETIMES I KNOW but i'm trying out a new sens. Reaper is so GOOD this season until they pull out the dva and junkrat. They make my life HELL.
The journey to champion was tough and I never thought I would actually get to champion but we did it in possibly one of the worst season for reaper. I also just wanted to say thank you to all the support lately it really means a lot.
Overwatch 2 Top 500 wasn't that hard to hit but I have been playing since Overwatch 1. I did start on xbox and switched to PC but altogether I have around 2300 hours and 1000 of them have been on Reaper.
Reaper is the reason why I got out of gold/plat hell as you can kinda 1vs5 with him due to his lifesteal. It does get harder obviously the higher you go up but if I can get top 500 anybody can because I'm not the greatest player ever. I legit play like a plat but what I do differently is I try to play with my tank most of the time or I do the funny and get a 5 man or die instantly.

I still think it’s funny that because Reaper is playable this season all the streamers are saying he’s S tier. I’d say A but I wouldn’t say S, don’t think a hero that can be as hard countered as him can be S. Actually been enjoying the game though this season and I’ve been playing nothing but Reaper besides my placements. I just really hope the balance team doesn’t see all the streamer tier lists and nerf him after he’s been struggling for so long.

probably what's gonna happen sadly. I see him as A tier, definitely doesn't need any buffs and the thing that is holding him back from being S tier is the meta rn. Ana, Brig and Dva is HELL for Reaper

Reaper has always been good, especially in lower ranks because of his bigger health pool and escape abilities. I love playing with a Reaper on my team because I know he'll help me with the enemy tank, especially if they are diving my helpless ass all the time. I don't even listen to "big" streamers anymore, most of them just yap about their own (very limited high elo) experience. It's always better to form your own opinions.

Since I started playing Overwatch (more or less a year and a half ago or more) I've only played Reaper and the truth is that one day I'd like to play with him like that, I really like playing it and even though it's sometimes complicated to play, especially in the past seasons I haven't changed mains, watching your videos helps me a bit with my positioning and so on, thanks :D

Reaper at the moment is the most viable he has been in a hot minute. Ive been playing sombra/reaper dive in my lobbies this season and its been a blast especially with Juno/Lucio speed

Sometimes when ur diving 1 enemy support ur 2 support are getting dived, and that's why u can lose games, i am the enemy juno by the way😢

Oh my god, this was the match mL outplayed Poko on the first map, wasn't it? As soon as he went Dva, I knew the game was over though. Not just because she's op but Poko is a damn beast on her. And you did mL so dirty in this game 😂 I never know who to cheer for when you're against each other 😅 Oh, and iirc *welcome to orbit* is your friendly Juno ulting while *locking satellite [something]* is the enemy Juno. The ult is actually so bright that I only know if it's our ult when I play her myself

locking satellite vector? maybe, idk myself either, but yeah it's gonna take a while to get used to the ult voicelines because they're in the same language. Funnily enough i had the same problem with bastion ults but over time i figured out which sounds are for the enemy bastion ults and all

Another example of the pains of Overwatch. You and your entire team could be rolling the entire enemy team and you could still be losing like crazy. Obviously stats don't mean everything but it does feel very unsatisfying and frustrating trying to figure out what you're doing wrong as you play the objective, getting kills, and not dying. It feels like all it takes is for one or two bad choices out of tens of right choices, to lose. I wish they had some better statistics.

I personally don't understand how people think Reaper is S-tier this season. The only reason he's doing well is because of 4 pocket heroes being buffed, all who excel at negating Reaper's weaknesses. Even the 225 HP nerfs aren't as beneficial to him as they are the other DPS who, btw, were all better than him just last season. It's wild to me that people think Reaper magically became a good independent pick with zero changes.

Don't engage with Wraith since it's a lot quicker to use than tp, UNLESS you're sure you can pull off at least a trade. You see Choice very often engage when both his cooldowns are available. Tp in/behind, wraith out when you're low. And guys, Fade is Moira's ability 🙈 Reaper does not have Fade though I would now love to swap their abilities for an April's Fools patch
