Well.. Doomfist definitely still has a pretty unique style of play but it just wasn’t the same as DPS Doom in OW1 OR the same as Tank Doom would’ve been in 6v6, apparently in that format, Winston and Tank Doom are a crazy Tank duo, also obviously Zarya and Doom is just.. comical and typical, Doom and Mauga is decent.. until they get countered by Dva and Roadhog or Dva and Zarya, Doom and Rein is a solid duo I’d say and Doom - Roadhog is actually surprisingly quite strong so.. yeah it might be tough in some or many situations but still manageable anyway if the player actually knows how to play Mauga (or any Tank hero really) and doesn’t sleep on that hero that is. With that said, it would’ve made more sense if Doomfist was first introduced as a Tank in OW1 but then changed to DPS going in OW2 as DPS Doomfist would’ve been better anyway for both 6v6 and 5v5 formats, considering all the rampant CC, he wouldn’t be much of a problem or even remotely a game changer at all, but he could still be annoying.. maybe insanely annoying in 5v5 as a DPS but still preventable or y’know, “counter-able” if he (Doomfist) would be the exact same in the beta tests before his release in OW1.

im having trouble consistently finding how to do a rising or descending diag punch without punching the wall or just going a straight line randomly, is there a way to know if the diag is a hit or miss? Cuz sometimes it looks like a diag, and then other times it doesnt so it doesnt propel me up, any tips i can use for my next games?

Why do you make playing Doom sound like playing a complicated by design IMMO or MOAB character? He’s not. It doesn’t take discipline, patience or any quality of person you might mention to play or even master Doomfist, I mean I rage myself when I die on any character, and in this case, I only ever rage on any character (especially Doom) if I died in a BS way, and that BS can be MANY, MANY things (unfortunately) so all I do after that is drink fairly cold water, remain silent and just win the BS game.
