Fun Fact: The reason why the song hits you in the feels is because Mumei loves bittersweet songs, songs that sound sad but have a feeling of Hopefulness. And 2(don't know if you already knew this but...) Mumei's name and being an Owl, is a Pun Nanashi means Anonymous or No one while Mumei means Nameless or Anonymous or in English: Who Who. So technically the song is called nameless by Nameless

I don't know if they've already said more about Mumei: She's not focused on singing, but she's working hard to learn and improve. At the show she had this year (if I'm not mistaken) at JP, it was the first time she sang solo, and it was this song. She was very nervous, and everyone in the audience noticed and started singing along, saying, "Do your best, don't be afraid." Halfway through the song, she started singing much better, letting herself go. Later on, during the live broadcast, she said she was really nervous because the song has a lot of sound effects that wouldn't be there at the show. But she heard the audience giving her "strength" and did her best for everyone.

Fun fact: Nanashi Mumei translates to Nameless Nameless. It could also be Anonymous Anonymous or a mixture of the two. It's rather clunky in English which is a major reason it wouldn't be in English. For slower songs I'd say Gravity is a good one, plus it's from one of my favorite holomems; IRyS.

This is my first time hearing this and I really like piano part, you pausing comment is good thing in music reaction I think, it give time for music to play out. As always hololive deliver nice midi that compliment so well so smooth. Nice video.

Nanashi = namae nashi = No Name namae = name nashi = not exist Mumei = noname, unknown, nameless so her name is like.. "Nameless Unknown' in English. that explain her lore too. shes not created by the Gods of hololive universe. Mumei forming her own self. Humankind civilization's will make her like that. while the other council members were created by the Gods. Sana - representation of Space Kronii - time Bae - chaos Fauna - nature on earth. but just the plants, animals, fungi, etc there. non human creatures. not about the geological and climatology stuff on earth. so because no one created her, so shes nameless. and that's how she call herself. the "girl" in the MV here, probably about one of the hololive Gods showing her self to mumei and fascinating about how that thing(mumei) can be born. like it's interesting for that God to observe Mumei. and once she visited by that thing, Mumei keep searching for that thing. Even tho she don't know that thing's name, that thing's face(because it's been so long)
