I would like to know the answer to the gallbladder question as well. My 2 month old has been diagnosed with a type I and the surgeon plans to remove the gallbladder. Is this necessary? What are the long term implications?

If any infant (age 1 yr) is diagnosed with choledochal cyst type 1 is it necessary to remove gall bladder or in what case gall bladder is need to remove..?? Or what problems have to face to child after gall bladder is removed ? Please reply sir

Hello sir I have 15 years kid and diagnosed with type 4 cyst. Is this cyst can be tested through surgery. ?

I had this procedure for type 1. Biggest regret of my life. Surgeons don’t warn pre op about the awful adhesions that can get worse over time & the discomfort they cause, as well as the dangers of bowel obstruction. Every surgeon should warn about such. It’s ruined my life!!
