CHON’s new music is fantastic, but every once in a while I gotta go back through the older CHON, everything they’ve released has been great and stays great! Their music (and a few similar artists) got me through a very tough time in my life. The beauty of instrumental music is that without lyrics, you can apply the melodies to whatever thoughts or feelings you want. It helps me to concentrate on other things other than whatever is taking over my mind at the time. This is music you can really get lost in, and I am so thankful for bands like CHON!

I don’t think people realize how hard it is to drum to this type of music constantly changing time signatures like that is EXTREMELY difficult to do it doesn’t happen overnight this takes months/years of practice and perfection to master a style like this
