There are many people from China visiting Thailand, but not many people from Thailand visiting China.I hope that Thai friends will come to China to visit and deepen their understanding of China.

The most concern for Thai tourists may be the communication. I think in Beijing & Shianghai now is fine for travelling, but the other areas are quite difficult to communicate, especially ordering foods for example. For tours, most Thai people who book China tours are elder. For the teenager or mid-ager, they tend to travel by themselves, so the communication is important.

I finally realize that the biggest challenge for foreigners to travel to China is the language barrier, instead of Visa application. If you have a western face, there might be some young passing-by helping you, otherwise Chinese will always speak Mandarin to you (many people can't distinguish between English and unfamiliar dialects). In addition, though China is closed 3 years ago, the domestic tourism is normal in these years.

Yeah, at least they should provide some English info in public transportations such as bus and taxi for a short distance travel. I understand that even eventually we can understand each other by the body language, but it takes some time to get. It makes short stay travelers concern, but for those who are longer stay might be a pleasant experience.

When traveling to China, avoid traditional Chinese holidays and weekends. There will be a lot of people, and the price will double.
