this song means so much to me. its embarrassing but everytime i show it to someone i have to show them the original ''HE ADDED WORDS TO THIS AND DOUBLED THE LENGTH!!!!!!!'' the second half of this song has to be my favourite. the sheer unapologetic optimism despite everything is something that has inspired and helped me to keep on going. the line ''But when Harmonia shines, Atlas beholds her.'' is something i think about constantly. its so brutally fascinating and beautiful and somewhat celestial? i dont know and i dont claim to fully understand it (im desperate to) but it makes me feel like im gliding through the universe when i hear this song.

the celestial connotations are definitely intentional. even outside of using apollo and artemis as a stand in for mind and heart (the sun and moon respectively), the lyric "perhaps we’ll meet at Tycho, or somewhere more solar, yet colder." makes another connection with tycho, the name of a large crater on the southern hemisphere of the moon.

I like to think this is what it sounds like to be warming up in band or chorus and losing yourself in a banger song. It just gives that vibe with how the beginning almost sounds like 3 people or sections of instruments/people warming up then someone just kind of day-dreaming as to them it sounds like everything is harmonizing beautifully. Anyways sorry for my little rant I just had to say how I find this song great! :D

The lines "Perhaps we'll meet at Tycho/Or somewhere more solar" are really interesting Tycho is a crater on the moon. This could be a reference to Dream Sweet In Sea Minor's line about the moon in the French segment. However, "Somewhere more solar" is *not* reference the solar system, as the moon is in the solar system. It seems to be referencing a reunion *in the sun,* which matches many religions' beliefs about the sun being the location of a heaven or afterlife. Part of the line following it, "but colder" further supports that they will meet in an afterlife, as the sun would obviously be warm, as would heaven or hell, but death is often described as cold.
@mildrewphiladelphia Жыл бұрын
I personally think it's referring to Heart & Mind. Mind specifically has been referred to as the Sun in variöus instances, & has been described as cold about as often.

Am I running out of words to describe your music? Maybe. Is it still astonishing how you manage to convert songs into something entirely new? Absolutely. You were one of my biggest inspirations for how I went about covering Sea Cucumber for the HitS album. Although my lyrics might not be as provoking as yours, and my mix may be rough though suitable for a beginner like me, you were still the biggest inspiration that went into that. Because of how that went, I’ve also found lots of fun in modifying songs I know now! If I had a dollar for every time I made up new verses to familiar songs while singing to em in the car, I’d be rich, and your covers largely inspired that! Fantastic work as always man, can’t wait to see what the future holds!
