I just realized the relationship with my chronic pain, the problem is not the pain but the words and feelings I indulge in. I actually keep the pain also alive with it, I guess, like a ping pong game. I just had that thought popping in“ But it is hard, it is real“, okay yes good to know that is all I need to know about it and now it is actually just neutral.

This is a flashback for me and empty to listen to. I practiced this for 10 years up until 8 years ago. I was so traumatized from childhood wounds and addicted to various substances and obsessions for 30 years. I practiced these beliefs and any alternative beliefs diligently. Then, I lost everything. 10 years in, living in Sedona, living in India, doing it all and even teaching new age philosophy and practices and healing techniques. And I lost everything. And at the end of my life, at the end of the pain, the strangest thing happened. A God I had left as a child entered my life by guiding me back to a relationship with Him. I was filled with the Holy Spirit, I went through a deep repentance, I entered recovery- everything in my life changed. Massive trauma from youth came up over these past 8 years, but the Lord has been faithful to walk with me along with some strong Christian men. I had no idea that Jesus was real, He is a savior today as He was back then. Today I’m getting more free each day and able to help others out of these alternative ways of practice. If you told me ‘Jesus loves you’ 8 years ago, I would have busted your lip. But today I know that I know that I know He’s real, He’s in charge, and He is the ultimate heart surgeon. God bless you, whoever is reading this.
