This is so true. It’s painful coming to this realisation. Some people just don’t see you, and that’s okay. Let them. It’s so easy to overlook those who actually value and love you when you’re searching for something external, be it a person or something material. In a sense, you’re ironically doing the exact same thing to them as the person you’re chasing is doing to you. Which begs the question: Do you value the people in your life? Are you showing them the love you so crave? Have grace, gratitude and compassion 🤍

I recently went through a very bad fight with my best friend ever and I haven’t seen/talked to him since then. He knows things about me i haven’t shared with anyone else and viceversa. I miss him every day because i no longer have that one person to turn to in situations of doubt. The thought of moving on without him and him living his life without ever thinking about all the core memories we shared together is extremely heartbreaking to me. If he finds new friends and is happy i will be happy for him but by losing him i also lost a big part of myself. It‘s crazy how a person you once knew so well turns into someone who treats you like a stranger. I guess I really should choose the people who choose me although it hurts more than anything knowing our lifelong friendship is over forever.

I agree with this for friends. But you need more than that for romantic relationships. If an unattractive person likes you, you don't and shouldn't have to choose them as a long term person if you don't like them back.

I really like how you're straight to the point in this video. Especielly when you talk about egos and how this is the root to a lot of suffering. Many struggle with this, not being able to accept the fact that someone just doesnt want to be with them. Its a simple fact, yet so hard to accept.
