Stop promoting constant consumption! New cameras do not give anything fundamentally new. But sellers and bloggers need money, that's why we see hundreds of identical videos about new cameras! You don't need a new camera, you need to learn photography. Don't buy new camera, spend that money on education or on a new lens!

@@Тёма_Котиков buyer's guides aren't just for promoting consumerism, there are people who don't know much about the ecosystem and these videos help them move into Fujifilm either as a new user or upgrading one. I understand where you come from, but unless youtubers are telling people to just sell their current gear to upgrade to the latest and greatest every single announcement, the you have a case to ask anyone to stop promoting consumerism, otherwise this video isn't directly addressing you and me since we're not shopping for a new camera, just remember some people out there are shopping and a little bit of education can prevent a lot of buyer's remorse.

I got an X-T4 a year ago and have loved it. Just recently bought a lightly used XE2 and it's been a lot of fun! I love how I can physically feel the mechanical shutter (and it's a bit loud) - makes it feel like I'm shooting on an old film camera.

As a Sony a7iv user, I just want a small camera to have fun with. Sure I love my a7iv but I have my eyes on the Xt30 ii as an EDC. Previously I was thinking of getting an XE-4 but it got too late! :/

My main is a Sony a7RV, and I just picked up the T-30 ii as my EDC. I had the X100V and the X-E4, both of which I returned. The X-E4 is super sexy, but it compromised too much for my taste. The X100V, with its leaf shutter is sweet, but I can't live with just a built-in lens. The T-30 ii, to me, is the X-E4 with a grip and the missing buttons/dials... and a built-in flash. It is nearly the same size as the X-E4, but better -- assuming you don't care about it not being a range finder style. It's easily the best EDC camera for me, even more than a Leica.

@@andrewyepez2660 haha, I think I have decided - i will most probably get the X100VI that launches soon as I know i will not like the XT30ii because of old AF tech and no IBIS, coming from a superior body like a7iv. XT5 is great however it will be a pricey affair with new Fuji lenses. Also thinking of getting the cheap Samyang 35mm 2.8 for the a7iv just in case when I want to take full frame on certain days.

I upgraded to the X-T5, after using Fuji for 2 years with the X-T1 and X-T3. The speed of the X-Trans 5 processor with the new AF is far away the most capable and the biggest step up from one generation to another, since the X-Trans 1 came out. I can do things not possible with my X-T3, especially using my XF 70-300. The differences from one generation to another in the past had never been this great. Before anyone tells you you just have GAS, see if you can give one of the new generation a try before you buy, especially if you already have lenses to test with it.

Whichever one you can afford and those available for purchase. Some will never be manufactured ever again, so, buy a used one, as I did from a reputable dealer like KEH Camera. Spend the money on the lenses. If you are not going to shoot video, look for one with a strength for photos. Most of the cameras talked about in this video are not available. You can get an X-T30ii, X-T3 new. I bought the X-T2 used, Like New Condition and spent the savings on glass, 35mm F2. If you are just starting out in the Fujifilm System, both the X-T30ii and X-T3 are excellent choices. Deciding on your first lens, just let KZbin Reviews help you because there are some excellent Photographers who share their opinions with image samples. Fujifilm is an excellent camera system.

This is just a list of all new stuff 😅 !! People can better get a x-t3 cheap and more Pro then x-t30ii also X-T4 is not in here still perfect. The xt5 is not that good in low light or deep shadows as the xt3/4 because of the mega amount of MP in a small sensor. 😅. Also i hate it when People change the Title 6month after upload to 2024 when it’s a 2023 video based on 2023!

xt30ii: compact (i choose it for my daily life cam) xt3: have ibis, weather sealing and a bit better specs (leans toward professional camera) I would suggest you to go to a shop and try both of them.

If I were to be shopping for a companion camera to my X-T4 it would be the X-S20, in fact although a dream, if Fuji would make a X-T4 II with the new processor that would be the perfect camera. I really don't like the new push button for focus mode and the lack of a button altogether from the new cameras though, I think minimalism has its place and sometimes less is actually less. I know a lof of folks like the X-Trans 2 sensor a lot, it would be very interesting to see Fuji having a take on their older sensors with higher processing specs. Fuji managers have to stop fearing breaking the trends and start to be Fujifilm again, this definitely set them apart from other camera manufacturers since the 90's. I'm glad the Instax series are still around, people love how unique and quirky yet passionable Fujifilm cameras were, and from all these instant print cameras around most people still stick to Fujifilm for a reason. I also have an almost identical question. I'm actually contemplating on selling my X-T3 for either an XT30ii or an XS10 simply because they're more compact and has the Classic Neg film sim which produces Fuji recipes that render 80s and 90s film developed prints which I happen to love. What hesitates me from purchasing either is that they're not weather sealed and although there are no major issues with the XS10, the one I prefer more because of its Fuji retro aesthetic, the XT30ii, has plenty of issues which incurs over time like rubber/leatherette peeling, command dials irresponsiveness, LCD failures. Although users attirbute them to the XT30 mark 1 (with the most grave being sensor failure) and claiming that the XTrans4 sensor version 2 had fixed the problem, the rubber/leatherette peeling persists since they use the same physical bodies (Reading different forums). There's an upcoming sale of an XT30ii brand new at US$815, brand new with 1-year warranty BUT I don't know if it will just give me headaches over time because of these lingering issues and for all we know, they're driving down the prices to rid of its inventory since it's prone to problems. I'm not sure if the users were abusive too but my X-T3 had no major issues the past 2.5 years maybe because I use it gently and not as a workhorse. I only get to shoot during day-offs, holidays, special occasions and vacations shooting street, travel, food and family documentaries. I hope that Mr. @ThierryGibralta could provide us some advice on this matter.

I don’t think that there is a clear winner between the 2. Both are high res cameras, the X-H2 has 8K and CF-Express which is useful if you need it, but I personally prefer the control of the X-T5 for photography

EVF and deeper grip were the reasons I chose XH2 but think about your intended use and also the lenses you want to get, bigger lenses do balance a bit better on the XH2.

I think that the X-T and X-H have clear goals I do agree that they have too many models that don’t necessarily differentiate themselves that much. I do believe they are trying to move away from that but only the future will tell us

Decided to buy S20 cos it's cheaper n can do all xt5 can do. Then at the shop...once put in hand...I think I will shoot more w xt5 cos the viewfinder looks so much better and prefer to see all settings without having to look at LCD. Bought xt5. N loving it.

Fujifilm Does a great job separating each series specially recently without compromising the most important part the sensor and imagine quality limiting the "cheaper" cameras only through the features (Exept the xh2s that has stacked sensor) although this video so for the APSC only cam GFX should have made it to the list too ahah 😅 or just honorable mention. Otherwise great video I'm sure some beginners got an idea what to chose.

It is a bit different from the XT5 for the sensor, build quality and ergonomics. The X-S20 is great though, and it has open gate, which the X-T5 has not.

Hey man, I own the Fujifilm XH2s, im finding that I am shooting mostly photo not video as much. I do take photos of cars/rolling shots and some sports...would the XT5 still work in that scenario? Im mostly asking because I wonder if the XT5 is significantly smaller than the XH2s or not really?

It would still work, the rolling shutter is significantly worse on the XT5 though so it depends on whether you need that very fast processing. Also yes, the XT5 feels much smaller
