I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

A fun twist might be this idea, but rather than a wheel, the person blind picking can also choose one typing for their opponent’s Pokémon and the other person gets to give it a second typing of their choice that’s only revealed in the battle.

Now this is a bit of a rough start, this little lad has a base stat total of 436 and becoming a water type is not good as he loses all stab moves so instead of trying to hit really hard we're just going to try to be a little cheeky and knock off some items, rapid spin somem, uh, hazards and then just parting shot to be able to heal up because I gave him the ability regenerator. I originally wanted to give him protean so he would get those stab moves but I feel like that kind of ruins the whole point of the video so I didn't want to do that and I went with regenerator instead. Hm. Fun idea I could suggest. A "Then We Battle" where both sides pick a Pokemon but you swap their types. Say, Metagross and Charizard. Now Metagross is Fire/Flying and Charizard is Psychic/Steel

Toxtricity does get the move 'Hex' as a TM, so Shady could have run it with either Toxic Spikes or Thunder Wave since Hex is a move that doubles damage when the opponent has status.

I’d love to see a similar video where instead of spinning for types, you randomize a group of types (either 3 per round or 10 total like you do for abilities) that you’re able to strategically assign to each Pokémon that the other person picks blindly for you. I’d probably remove legends, mythicals, and paradox Pokémon - that way you can focus on “improving” Pokémon that aren’t as good with types that suit them.

info for dylan. Rising Voltage doesn't get the electric terrain bonus, it just get doubles. Say Thunderbolt, gets a 30% boost, with 90 basepower being 117 basepower while rising voltage gets a 100% boosz, with 70 basepower being 140 basepower.

Should be a 100% boost from doubling, a 30% boost for all electric moves on terrain, 30% special attack from hadron engine so it should be around 224-236BP, im pretty sure showdown accounts for the multipliers

@jaydog77 Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but the power boost of rising voltage does in fact, replace the standard 30% boost of the terrain as lomg as the target touches the ground. yes, hadron engines boost would still work, but not the terrain.

Honestly, for that last mon on Shady's side I feel like I knew instantly what sort of menace it could be. Poison/Dark, terrifying Physical Attacker, access to Dragon Dance, it has STAB Poison Jab and Crunch, but because they were taking abilities from the typing they got. Sheer Force from Nidoking/queen, Poison Jab, Crunch, Dragon Dance and a Coverage which benefits from Sheer Force would be an absolutely terrifying mon if left unchecked. (But instead he went to the simple Adaptability loadout, which I guess I understand why, but the Sheer Force Life Orb set would've been similar to it but different enough)

Honestly would be cool to see a video like this but they always have to counter pick typings. Like if shady picks a pokemon and makes it fire flying, the other person has to make their pokemon a combination of water, rock, or electric. So you want to make a combination that has not a lot of weaknesses but also has to match up with the pokemon well. Like if you make your pokemon water and ground the opponent has to just use grass

Here’s a video idea for you Shady. You each choose a starter at the same time and compare the BST, then between the 2, the pokemon with a higher BST gets a debuff and the lower BST gets a buff. So you have to choose if you take the legendary on your screen, or take something more mid to hopefully buff it up.

Love the content as usual. Keep up the hard work. Possible idea 🤷‍♂️ randomize 10 abilities, then blind Choose 10 eggs. Assign an ability to the egg before it hatches. 1 switch of ability allowed after they hatch. Then you can either stack 1 mon or switch and perhaps make 2 good mons

“Then we battle” video idea: Each player opens 9/10 packs from the Pokémon Trading Card Pocket. (Either 3 from each set or just a straight 10 packs from one set) You select one Pokémon from each pack you open to add to your team. After you’ve selected all your mons, your opponent eliminates one of your pulls until you each have 6 Pokémon left, then you battle with your leftover team. Example: in your 4th pack you pull Moltres then your opponent says- “you can’t use the Pokémon from pack 4” meaning you can’t use the Moltres. Abilities from Pokémon of the same type or Random abilities. It might be too Kanto heavy but content do be contenting at least 🤷🏻‍♂️

For a video you guys should choose each others pokemon with out seeing them then the person who picks the pokemon also picks a number between 1-6 without knowing what it is and the person whose pokemon it is chooses up or down and thats which way the stats all get shifted so if someone says 4 and down HP becomes SDef, Attck becomes Speed, Spe. ATTACK becomes Hp and so on you do that for each person until a full team. Abilities can be done anyway you feel like and you can do however many number of rounds you want in case you want to have more options.

Suggestion - randomly select a pokemon but the bst has switched (if it was atk - 80, it would become atk - 175 (255-80)) it seems like it would end with some very funny things like a really fast avalugg and some broken mons

IDEA: Randomized Pokemon Based on Your Opponent choosing where the Pokemon should be found in a specified Region for video. Eg. Region: Kanto....3 Pokemon on the screen.....Pokemon 1 may be found on Mount Moon (Roaring Moon) etc

It would be fun that the ability that you can get has to come from pokemon with the exactly the same type (got mono bug? Can only get frommono bug pokemon. Got steel/flying? can only get from steel/flying pokemon. Got a type combination that doesn´t exists? Well, no ability for that pokemon)
