​@captainpolar2343 terrain seeds for unburden mons, there's weather rocks, all sorts of resist berries, some Pokémon can be mixed attackers and therefore prefer life orb over choice items, air balloon for ground weak mons, the options are limitless. There are some items that are ubiquitous with some Pokémon too, weakness policy is kind of coalossal's whole thing. Eviolite porygon2/ chansey, focus sash for fast frail mons, the herbs have niches too. The mental herb to ignore taunt on stuff that sets up Hazards, I seriously don't get how this is a bad idea. I want to see this video!

I like this idea, but they should remove the straight up bad abilities from the list. No truant, slow start, and so on. Also, randomly assigning abilities to all three starters without seeing them before the opponent picks would be super fun

The person should have a pool of abilities they have to pick from, otherwise you could just go: Heavy Metal Defeatist Slow Start Truant Illuminate Plus Three negative abilities, two useless abilities, and one ability only used for damage calculation in like 3 moves. I also like the idea that you would have to give someone huge power or something like that, So you could try to predict a Pokemon with a high special attack.

A lot of people don’t know about this but, when a pokémon with adaptability terastalizes it reverses the 2x stab on its original types back to 1.5x and gains 2x stab on the type the it currently is, and if just tera to one of its original types, that type gets 2.25x stab

I have an idea for a "and then we battle." Your opponent gets to know exactly what Pokémon are on the screen but you get to randomize the positions of each Pokémon. Your opponent must guess either left, middle, or right to pick their/your Pokémon.

It's actually the top Smogon set. I imagine it's because Chi-yu doesn't get crazy coverage, and Overheat and Fire Blast can be used in conjunction if Overheat is used as a pivot and Fire Blast is a last resort type of move as a late-game sweeper. It's typically to counter threats in the tier.
