I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

I have an idea, not sure if it's been done before, if it has well opps- You randomize the game, then a wheel decides what area of paldea you go to (like area zero, ect.) You catch the first 2 pokemon you see, don't tell the other person (except one round of your choice), and do this another 2 times, catching 6 pokemon from 3 randomly chosen areas and then fighting (optionally you could do the first fight then catch another 6 pokemon this way and after the second battle, if there's a third battle you could either chose 3 pokemon from both teams, or catch another set of six) Sounds a little time consuming but might turn out to be really fun! Battle Idea: Through your eyes! Wearing a blindfold, you pick your Pokemon from randomized starters. Normal abilities, randomized move set. No items I would think, unless you can put them on the Pokemon without knowing what the item is. You do not get to look at the Pokemon. Get your team, and enter the battle. Now for the catch: Swap screens with your opponent. Not sure how you do this, but im sure there is a screen sharing program you could use. From here on, you battle, but you see everything from your opponents viewpoint, and not your own. Meaning you get to see what moves your opponent has and pick, if/when they swap, what there team is when they swap, all of it, but your opponent is picking their moves blindly (you may give hints if your feeling generous, but why ruin the fun) Now to ensure some fairness, if you wish to switch, let your opponent know to make sure you click on the right spot. You do not however, get to see who your picking and will find out when you see it pop up on your opponents screen. This is also how you discover your move set, as it comes at you.

time to go wild for an idea: getting closer to the new year, go to a randomized wild area, use 20 randomized abilities for whatever pokemon you inevetiably catch, 3 masterballs allowed, and for the pokemon, you're only allowed to catch small boys/girls so if you see a Zekrom, it's not allowed as he's too big, and if a shaymin is on screen, he's allowed, I'll let you set the height and weight limit and just for fun, do keep or trade with your opponent, you or anyone else can add to this to make it seem like a chaotic challenge and more fleshed out

Wish that we could see actual damage numbers when the pokemons get hit or the actual amount they heal when they used healing moves, same with the setup moves that boost specific attributes, like showing you, how much those stats were actually raised by, maybe only on the owner of the pokemon to not give info to the opponent.

Stat raises are always denoted in stages. Each of these stat changing moves changes what stage you're on, so getting intimidated gets you one stage lower while swords dance increases your attack by two stages. You can get as high as +6 and as low as -6. One positive stage is +0.5 to a multiplier. At the beginning of the battle you're at stage 0 with a multiplier of 1. So at stage two for example, your stat gets multiplied by 1+(2*0.5), so it gets doubled. Negative stat changes require you to use fractions, they multiply your stat by 2/3, 2/4, 2/5, 2/6, 2/7, 2/8 for the stages down to -6. Being at stage -2 for example you have the multiplier 2/4, so your stat gets halved. Displaying these stats for everyone in the battle to see would be bad, since it would show your opponent exactly what the original stats of your pokemon are, and the information is unnecessary for the trainer since they already know their attacks now deal double or half damage.

Let's talk about the origin ball, I only will accept 6 pokemon in them, the primals (Groudon, Kyogre, and raquaza) and the origin pokemon (Palkia, Dialga, and the ghost dragon one) using the origin ball as their ball of choice but deoxys should be the park ball, not the origin ball because of more how it looks then to what it's lore is in the Pokemon history. Sorry this is so long, I just needed to get the point across. Edit: just to clarify, I'm not mad that luke* chose the origin ball, I was just saying that this is my opinion about the Pokemon that should use the origin ball. (Also Arceus is now one I will accept also mew* so it's now 8 pokemon).
