This is a very interesting concept because you only prosper in this challenge by either knowing what certain mons' best stats are, or simply by guessing what the best one would be based on that info alone. I always love whenever I see a new video concept from you or any of the others!

Tbh i KNOW what most mons best stats are but it doesn't allow you to prosper in this game bc you could be presented with a Magikarp whose best stat is speed and a Gyarados whose best is attack and still end up picking Magikarp bc you might be hoping for a Flutter Mane or something.

Maybe for a little extra incentive, each person could get one EXACT number. Like they can ask for a number on ONE pokemon at any time of their choices before making a choice and they choose based on the luck of that and have to guess if its worth using it

While I've thought of this too, that would make it pretty easy. Saying somethings highest stat is attack seems alluring, but if you know it's 30, you are easily dodging the bullet

Nah that ruins it imo. Not knowing the number is what makes it fun. It would go from two options whose best stat is SpA to choosing between one whose best stat is SpA and is 55 and one whose best stat is SpA and is 145. Totally ruins the game.

How about for every pick, you reveal one stat about the starters and decide from there? like in the first pick, you reveal the Attack stats of all the starters. Then on the 2nd pick, you reveal the defense and so on, etc.

Pausing at 3:50. I think if you have a tie for highest, you have to say them all. Example, mew. Mew's special defense isn't its highest. All of its stats together are its highest

That wouldn't be as fun, because in the case of new, it would be easy to narrow it down. I think if there's a tie, say 2 of them, if there's many ties. Or 1 if there's a tie and mention it's tied with another stat

Oh wow, that is interesting. For Cyndaquil, it's Speed, but for Quilava it's a tie between Speed and Special Attack and a fully evolved Typhlosion, either variant, it's Special Attack. I was kind of hoping a Larvesta would show up because that's the ultimate misleading one given that they fully evolve them. Larvesta's best stat is _Attack,_ which is actually Volcarona's absolute worst stat (Larvesta actually loses more Attack when it evolves than Trapinch does.)

What I think my base stats would be? Hmm, first I'd have to figure out my base stat total. I am an adult, so something in line with a fully evolved Pokémon, but I think I'd be under 500. I don't always have the best reaction times or actual speed, so Speed stat is pretty low. I bruise easily and get worked up emotionally, so both Defense and Special Defense would be low, too. And I'm not exactly the strongest, physically, but I'm quite intelligent, and despite getting hurt easily, I can actually take quite a bit of punishment. So I'd say... HP: 130 Attack: 50 Defense: 50 Special Attack: 150 Special Defense: 30 Speed: 50 Total: 460 A little lower total than I expected, but there are actually some decently high-usage Pokémon with similar stat totals--Amoonguss has a total of 464. It's definitely an _odd_ distribution, though; the only Pokémon with at least 150 in either Attack stat and less than 500 BST overall is Mega Beedrill at 150 Attack, 495 total, though for other stats, you've got five Pokémon with less than 460 BST and a single stat that high: Chansey and Wobbuffet in HP, Onix and Doublade in Defense, and Ninjask in Speed.

This would have been more interesting if you actually gave the actual number of their highest stat. Because just knowing which one is the highest doesnt mean anything. This is just pure guessing without much basis. Knowing the stat number would actually challenge their knowledge a bit and not make it pure guessing.

You should try this but, the opponent asks for 3 stats and you tell them either the highest or lowest pokemon in that stat out of the 3 pokemon. After hearing the answer to all 3 stats they want, then they choose. Example of a round would be: p1: Attack, SpAttack, Speed p2: Pokemon 1 has Attack, Pokemon 1 has SpAttack, Pokemon 3 has Speed. Without knowing whether you named the highest or lowest in those stats, p1 would have to make a choice on what to pick. Is p2 bluffing Pokemon 1 and it's just a Sunkern? Or is it a double bluff and it's MewTwo? Do you risk Pokemon 2 which is potentially safest from being the highest or lowest of Attack, SpAttack, or Speed, or is that the bluff?
