Great info, I'm from Delaware lol and I have to consider the New York, Philadelphia, Maryland and Virginia markets. I'm about to upgrade my Actors Access account and when I get new headshots IMDB because your right IMDB is a crucial site to have and if you don't have IMDB Pro you're limited. Actors need to not only consider budgets for different sites but budgets for casting as well, you would look foolish to be hired for a job BUT can't get there because of finances

I was paying for actors access because I was so excited being a new actor. I was paying for actors access before I had head shots made even after I had head shots made yet I didn’t have any acting reels up and I wasted over $100 on this casting site i didn’t have all my ducks in a row, so it is a huge waste of money. If you do not have everything that you need head shots, acting real slates, etc. you will be a wasting money, even at $10 a month♥️

Yes, you definitely need to have all the marketing materials to succeed 🙂 especially headshot and a reel. Even if it's just temporary ones.

I have a message from the client after I requested a submission, and he asked me about a Venmo account as they pay using that transferring system. Is that fine? Hi Diana! 💕 Thanks so much. Each job will pay you differently but not through the app. The best way (I think) is through a check after filling out a W9 for them. I have gotten paid by venmo and paypal before but just make sure they are legit cus you never know. Personally, I have only been asked for payment info after being cast. Be safe! ♥️

Only if it says they are accepting non-union for that specific role. They usually have a minimum union people they have to hire and then after that, they have the option to hire some non-union.

Yup, this would be under the Actors Access section but you will only be able to audition for bigger roles if you have that account in addition to an agent.

You should know before hand unless casting is irresponsible. Usually, they include it in the casting call. If you are not comfortable with it, you should never do it.

Yes, backstage is designed for new actors looking for smaller projects like low budget theatre, commercials and student films. You will have to pay a monthly or annual fee. I don't recommend it for everyone. If you haven't already, please watch the video and I explain all the different ones I know of and the locations I recommend.
