The Jupiter by far sounds better it holds the low end better, the Weber is floppy when it breaks up. If you try using some NOS tubes it will give you that vintage sound you are looking for.

I love the Jupiter 8sc very better for me, because, is a little bit more juicy and scratch tones, a smally fuzzy, i like. Thak you for the test. 👍

Que se passou ali com a distorção algures no minuto 9:45 ?! Parece que entrou um gato para afiar as unhas dentro da válvula. Gosto mais do altifalante da Fender.

My Champ is a '64 Blackface. I put a Weber in it after the tired old Oxford gave up the ghost.

Would I need an attenuator to get a 57 champ to break up at bedroom volume or ?

I had the jupiter 8 sc in my elfring little gem amp and i liked it so much i put an jupiter 12 LC in my fender tonemaster dr , so yeah , i am biased toward the jupiter speakers they just sound great ( to my ears at least : ) . btw , i sold the elfring amp , wich i do regret now : ) offcourse : ) A few weeks ago i bought an 12 " mojotone anthem speaker for my HB speakercabinet and that one sounds great too ( if you like the american sound at least )

Mate, there's something wrong with that Champ! Maybe a tube or something else in the circuit: that distortion doesn't sound correct at all!
