It is rare that I have any questions after Adam explains something. Thorough explanations without being too wordy, and spoken at a pace where I can absorb information.

@@AdamDrake hey I just started watching your videos and I went back as far as 13 years (on the losi KZbin channel) and I think you were my neighbor at one point. There was a guy on my block who always race RC cars and his truck had lots of racin stickers but I mostly remember the losi logo everywhere and the guy working on his RC cars in his garage for hours none stop. If I'm correct one night someone did a hit a run and hit your trailer/truck I was there when it happen & you came out. Not 100% sure if you though.

Nice video, I noticed that my ultra soft/pink TZO tires are perfect during race nights when they water down the dirt, but during practice on the dry track, my buggy will traction roll at the end of the straight from having too much grip. I also notice some excessive tire wear on them (freedom park Camarillo) so I got some medium compound/blue tzo wheel setup to try on these dry conditions. It's pretty annoying there isn't a standardized color/compound nomenclature for these tires...

Yes! This is so beneficial on so many levels, as I travel more I am learning that tires are HUGE and knowing when and what to run is even more important, can’t wait for video 2, thanks Adam🤘🏻

Different compound's for different applications. Makes sense. I'm not exactly new to this. I used to run at OCRC when it was open with my Associateds and my Losi 22X 4. Bigger Buggy but same concept. Especially with Outdoor Loose dirt. Thanks Adam.

I have had luck with playing around with soft tire and a stiffer foam in the minnie pin area. I live in Missouri it gets hot here and humid

Arkansas dont have all that I'm aware of...mostly Xmaxxs and Arrma stuff here, but it is helpful info for the novice racers wanting to up their game

Why are all the wheels day glow?Yellow and white are there any other colors that are made in that particular style
@AdamDrake9 ай бұрын
It mainly to make them easy to see. Some companies make different color wheels, but Yellow and White are the most popular for racing.

When would you run silver or gold. At AMS I think a lot is f drivers were running silver rehabs and last year they were running gold positrons. When should we switch to these vs standard green/blue/aqua.

HI Adam, i run J Concepts in the UK, we mainly run Ellipse as most tracks are treated with oil on clay and are relatively smooth. My question is when do I run Clay vs Normal compounds, I find that when its cold and windy, the surface polishes up and gets slick (Shiny), would I then run a green or blue compound instead of the Clay? Hoping you can add some insights

Reflex is a really good all around tire.

Or how about this one glue the foams to the rim. Then put the tires on glue them down. Then threw the vent holes try and glue the foam to the tire in a few spots.
