It sounds to me like the cadence acts a simple on/off switch for the motor. Correct?

Exactly - there are magnets in the sensory which pick up that you are pedaling and give you the amount of power you have set your PAS on

Hello, as I understand you can use the throttle while in peddle assist with a cadence sensor, how does that change with a torque sensor?
@josediazojeda24173 ай бұрын
For instance if im peddling slowly in PAS level 3 with a torque sensor and I use press the throttle all way down what happens?

@@josediazojeda2417 Hi there, the top speed would be the same no matter on throttle or pedal assist. Feel free to call us at 949-264-4080 if you have more questions regarding our bikes. Thank you so much for watching!

Nice review. I’m on my second ebike with cadence. I think that for me (old, big guy) I’m going to stick with cadence especially since I know how to use. My one complaint is that on a high watt motor I occasionally go faster than I want even on level 1. I don’t like to go too fast near pedestrians.

Hi thank you for watching! if you have the regular LCD screen, you can change the LIM setting from 32 to 25, that woudl change your level 5 speed from 20mph to 15mph, so your level 1 speed would be around 6-7mph on throttle. Feel free to call us 949-264-4080

@@ElectricBikeCompany that’s a good tip. Thanks. My bike is an Ariel rider Kepler which I got because I live in and around very steep hills. The big is a big bruiser. My old bike was peak 900 which wasn’t working so hot.

@@ElectricBikeCompany I think you can do the same thing by reducing the max speed.
