I wanted to say 1 more thing to kandy man. Your are 1 of the best!!! I am just a hobbyist that maybe does a few things here and there for a few people. So i am not in the loop to say as far as guys filling me in on products and technics. But watching and listening to a guy like you i feel like it makes me so much better. I have been redoing a c10 pickup and redone the whole thing and my paint job turned out unbelievable!!!! Im using a blow up booth and pay attention to everything you say bro.. And truthfully i am amazed at the stuff I've been doing!! So please don't ever think that us guys and gals are not listening and learning for a guy who can do and knows what you know. You truly are one of the best ive came across on here and please keep kicking out the GREAT videos and filling guys like me in on information and technics for a guy like me to be able to kick out work that i can truly be proud of!!!! Thanks a million KANDY MAN!!!!

In my experience I've seen a lot of primers shrink. In the past when I would leave more primer on the panel after everything is painted, finish looks great at first. But then after a few months especially over the hot summer months as primer underneath of the paint products would cure all the way, it would shrink, slightly distorting the final look of the area that was primed up. So normally I do my Bondo work real well, therefore I don't rely on primer to fill a lot of the imperfections. I always do one coat of primer and then take 80-90% of it off so that only the slightest imperfections would be filled with the thinnest coat of primer that still remains on the panel. That way after everything is painted there's not enough primer on the panel to cause any shrinkage. I'm sure there's more than one way to skin the cat, this is just the way I've been doing it for a while and this way in my opinion gives the best final result. I in no way critique Candymen's work, he is a true master of his trade and I've learned a few things by watching his videos 👍

So, why not just use epoxy? Two coats, wait overnight then epoxy seal. I get the 2k to block out. On small areas, I love using UV primer. That fender would be a good place for UV. The cardboard trick blew my mind. So ingenious!! I've heard that some people use pool noodles between truck beds and cabs when separating them isn't possible. I absolutely love your videos! Thanks for your time in producing them!

Kandy man I need some advice I’m looking to get the flattest clear I can!! I want to be able to cut n buff individual areas and not have the areas stick out like what happens when you have a slight peel. So my question is this im currently using a Devilbiss pro lite with a 1.2 fluid and a T110 air cap at 27-29 PSI it makes a ton of over spray the cloud is so much Im having issues following my wet line! What I’d like to know is would I recognize the difference of using a DV 1 clear coat gun I see it operates at a much less PSI .
