Great video. On my motorcycle lift my wheel chock is held in place but rather than bolts going down, I have them upside down (nuts on top instead of under). Then I use wing nuts I can tighten and loosen by hand, no tools. This way I can take my wheel chock on and off quickly and without needing any plates or getting under the lift. Mounting bracket is probably still easier and faster though so I like your setup better once installed:)

Hey Adrian, what a good idea reversing the bolts and using a wingnut. My only thought would be using the trailer after I have removed the chalks and having the bolts exposed. Would they get in the way of cargo being put into the trailer. What kind of trailer or lift do you use? Do you think you'll have time for an appearance on the Canadian Guys in the new year? Stay safe, cheers Dave

I remember my buddy had a 75 impala we would stuff the bike in the big trunk with the front wheel hanging over the bumper. Honda 250 Dirt Bike. Not the best way to move a bike.lol, Good video lots of good info.

Hi Kevin, here's a question, what car can you put a motorcycle in its trunk today? 😂

Do you have any suggestions for a Uhaul truck where you aren't able to bolt anything into the ground? I'm thinking a wheel chock (unbolted to ground) with tie downs (to the wall attachments). Thoughts?

Wheel chock against the front wall

Greetings, thanks for dropping by and watching this video. Sounds like this is a short term use. As a suggestion what has worked for me in the past was a wheel chock with a flat base that sat on the floor of the trailer. I threw a rubber mate under the chock to stop it from sliding on the floor. I was then able to drive my bike onto the chock which locked the front wheel. The important part would then be how you strap your bike down. I did a video on strapping if you are interested. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmmsfXajnbp-eLc. As the wheel chock was not fasten to the floor I did need a second person to hold the wheel chock from sliding when i removed the bike. Hope this was helpful but as this is a Uhaul truck contact the dealer for their recommendation on transporting your bike. Cheers

We wanted to get there in the shortest time possible so we had more time to tour the countryside.
