Hello everyone! SELAMAT HARI MERDEKA MALAYSIANS! Today’s video is a special one as it’s a mix of food and family memories. I visited Chee Meng Cafe on Argyll Road, George Town, Penang, to try their famous Wanton Mee noodles. This stall is only open from Friday to Sunday and serves breakfast and lunch-so it’s always a treat when I can grab a bowl! The noodles were absolutely delicious, with that perfect balance of flavors and textures that make it a must-try for any noodle lover.
But this video is about more than just great food. It’s also a poignant day for me because it marks the *last day* for my youngest child at Taska Lin, a Waldorf Early Education school for toddlers. All three of my children attended this wonderful school, and I’ve always been so grateful for the loving and nurturing environment that Taska Lin provides.
As I enjoy my bowl of Wan Than Mee, I reflect on my decision to choose the Waldorf education system, which emphasizes learning through play, creativity, and holistic development. I share my personal experiences with each of my children during their time at Taska Lin, and how this unique approach to early education has positively shaped their early years.
In the video, you’ll also see some heartwarming pictures and photos of my kids and me growing up together, capturing those precious moments from their time at Taska Lin. I’d love to hear your thoughts on early education-do you have any experiences or insights to share? Please drop a comment and let’s chat!
*Watch the video* to enjoy some mouth-watering noodles and join me in reminiscing about the joys of early childhood education.
