I learned on good old traditional camber, that was all that was out there. (Yes getting old). I don’t like rocker and the Flying V/ hybrid rockers. But I’m starting to like my warpig flat camber to go out with my son.

I also learned on a traditional Cambridge too many moons ago. I don’t like the rockers either but sometimes a decent for someone learning. Everyone learns differently. That warping is a wiiiide board. I liked it when I rode it. Have fun out there with your son this season! 🏂

Nice video! I'm a rookie snowboarder riding my first snowboard. I ended up with rocker -- a Lib Tech Skate Banana, which is working just fine. It was amusing to learn that I'm 40+ years outside your recommended age range for that shape...but who's counting! 😉

Thank you very much for the great feedback. And hey if that rocker feels good stick with it. If you ever feel like have a little more control for carving down the road I recommend trying and hybrid camber. Much more stable. Have fun out there, Ed! 🏂

Love your videos. It seems hard to find a soft rocker on sale. I bought a Nitro Prime as my first board. Flat with rocker tips. And i just had a bad time on it. It was my 2nd trip. I saw the art work on the Evol Stasis. Traditional camber. THE house was going out of buisness. 60% off everything. So i snagged it for $240 for the art work. Decided to bring it on my 3rd trip. Sadly its the end of april. All the green runs were shut down in Vail. Except for 1 that was no longer "green". I actually was doing way better on the Stasis to my surprise. For the first time my board was pointed down and I was kind of rocking edge to edge. 10 degree slope before the green turned gnarly AF and it all went to shit. Im like nope. Not pointing my board straight down that. Next trip isnt until december. My wife just bought me the Star Wars DC Vader board. Unfortunately another Traditional camber board. LOL I own 3 boards and have only been on 3 trips. Pro tip. You never have to wax a board if you only ride it once. Anyway. Thanks man. Your videos helped me on my first trip. Hopfully december in Breckinridge i will have a lot of greens to try out my Star Wars board. Wish I had a rocker though. But it seems like if the board has a edge at all. Im going to find it. This sport is not as easy as i thought. Sucks im in my 40s and live in Florida. That makes things harder.

Hey there and thank you for your positive feedback. I suggest selling the boards you absolutely do not want for the time being. When you arrive on your next snowboarding trip you should go to a board shop and demo one or more snowboards that you are interested in riding. That way before your next purchase or gift that you receive, you know exactly which one to get. Mountain Wave or Base Mountain Sports here in Breck are solid options to demo a variety of snowboards with great locals running the shops. Thanks again for the support here on my channel. Good luck and have fun out there! 🏂

@stevantures My driver suggested that on the way back to the airport from my last trip. Good looking out. That's exactly what I will do. I'm interested in the Lib Tech Banana. So I will see if they have that to demo.. Hopefully this next trip goes much better. Dec 17th is locked in at Breckenridge. Will be staying at Trails End. On Google maps it looks like you can throw a rock and hit the silver chair lift from there it's so close. So that should work out well for me. Looks like the silver chair goes right to about 4 or 5 easy green runs. I think I will do what you suggested too. After a demo if I like the Lib Tech I will try to sell my Nitro Prime to buy it. I wonder how hard it'll be to sell a board in FL lmao. On the plus side It looks brand new. Rode it for 2 days before I caught a edge and thought I broke a rib. Cut my trip short.
