If you transport a refrigerator vending machine on its back. You have to wait 24 hours to have the oil go back down in the compressor to work properly.

Good video. Im probably going to start with a quarter turn machine that dispenses pokemon cards and etc. Where did you get your pokemon card machine from?

Hey there, thank you for watching! 🫶 We ordered ours from candymachines.com but they have been out of stock in recent months. It is just a sticker machine that we use to dispense cards instead of stickers - any sticker machine would do the job! We've seen a few pop up on Facebook marketplace and eBay since they've gone out of stock. :) Best of luck on your own vending journey!!

Also, would it be worth it for someone to potentially make their own items to put inside, like stickers/keychains/etc? Or is there anything that could get in the way of that?

If you don't have an LLC registered, and somebody sues your business for whatever reason (kid climbs on your machine and gets hurt, the machine shocks someone, etc.) they can come after personal property (ie: your house, car, personal savings, etc.) instead of business assets (machines, inventory, etc.). Having an LLC offers the protection of your personal assets in the event that you are sued. Also certain LLCs will only cover personal assets of yours if you carry insurance as well, meaning that in order to make sure you are fully protected all paperwork needs to be in order. Also as far as your second question goes, I think that it may depend on the state. I imagine there may be some liabilities when it comes to small pieces being choking hazards, but I'm not sure on the specifics of that.

Follow up to your second question, I personally sew scrunchies and make Pokémon keychains - I was considering putting some in our machines myself as filler items but your question made me realize I'll need to look into the legalities of it beforehand.

We do and they are one of our favorite machines. Pokemon cards do excellent, but also just watching and seeing what's trending is a good way to decide on what stickers to put in your machine. Anything over 2 cards in one cardboard sleeve tend to get stuck so we stick with 1-2 stickers max per vend. Good luck!!
