Over two days the final disassembly and chop happen! Trey's 80 series Landcruiser will never be the same again! All went smooth besides a stubborn rusty body mount, but a saws all and plasma cutter won in the end.

How tough would that series 1 hilux cab at the end of the video look on the 80 chassis.

Nice build, you just got a big offset on those rims or did you do an axle swap ?

It has axle swaps

I had a 4runner that I wanted to bob this way, but unfortunately, the property manager had it stolen. My parking rent was caught up, and she assumed that the vehicle had to have current registration. State law only requires this on public roads. My attorney will be prosecuting them for the conversion of the vehicles of myself and of a neighbor.

why would anyone chop such a beautiful and relatively rare suv??

Forgive my ignorance, but why all the work to make it a truck, when there's already a Tacoma/Tundra?

While the Taco and Tundra are both amazing and well built trucks, the LC80 Is a FAR superior trail rig. A super capable purpose built trail right is what Trey and Josh are building. It really wasn’t intended to be a “pickup” but a lighter more agile version of the land cruiser. Both theses guys are very talented fabricators. I’ve seen this truck in action. It’s legit!
