This tank is actually fairly good all things considered. 170-200mm of armor fits perfectly in Tier 7, the hull still bounces AP rounds from mediums and Russian 122mms while the turret requires careful aiming or gold to go through, not paper but not invincible. The tank starts off with the top gun already, no stock grinds, with gun handling that's manageable and can mount a vert stab. Also the alpha is okay enough in single shot mode to match other T7s while also giving you the chances to mess someone up with 460 alpha in doubles. Mobility is middle of the road, but it has good ground resistances. The only issue is the the radio range which may be an issue if you're top tier with other tanks that have horribad radios.

Did you play this tank? Beeing matched against t8 and t9 is just shit. The armor is almost nonexistent and the gun is very inconsistent. The doubleshot is ridicoulusly unprecise as well.

From my experience tier 7 is atrocious, 50% of my games are against tier 9, 20% against tier 8

I love this tank so much. I played only with chopper yesterday and its my new favourite heavy tank. I found its armor to be surprisingly nice. Not reliable, but pretty decent. Overall really fun

Tier 7 is a great time. The Chopper feels like a heavy-medium hybrid, but will take some getting used to.

Surprisingly nice tank. Definitely not imba, but a reliable worker. Double shot is funny, but I would prefer single damage of 390 with one barrel.

Chopper does not have much armour but at tier 7 it is fun to play. Aced it in only my second game.

T29 is simply better. Chopper will get chopped in turret mantle if you load gold(230 pen and more), and i just slapped a poor chopper with gold, obviously in my T29
