Peter, thanks for your kind comment. There is so much to learn from these elegant Mazurkas. It may be time to do another analysis video - maybe on his interesting use of the modes.

It's like finding alien technology and doing backwards engineering. You need to break it apart to understand it.

The Roman numeral thing should be simplified by saying the 505.2 chord. Chord five of three is the sixth, chord etc.

Thank you for your work, but..... too much time without sound and only silent analysis. This one should always be with the music, very slowly to let the ear understand what s happening. If not, that becomes abstract, dry and not efficient.

It's insane to think that Chopin wrote such an advanced harmony in 1930 by the age of twenty.

I agree. His pianistic style was influenced by John Field and his sense of harmony was very forward thinking.
