Hi! It’s been a while. At this time, the performance with Nocturne Op.27 No. 2 has been prepared. As far as I know, this Nocturne is one of popular Chopin’s Nocturnes. This is in D-flat major, but it has a melancholic mood. In the wiki, it is explained well “Various sections consisting of grace notes and polyrhythms add to the delicate and somewhat melancholic mood that the piece conveys.”. From this point of view, I think that this piece is not easy to play well. For the next video, I plan to play a piece in the Baroque period. Please look forward to the next video! Thank you so much all the time! Have a great day!

When Chopin died in 1849 , Liszt felt absolutely heartbroken and he paid homage to Chopin's life by composing the third piece of his set of Six Consolations, which he had dedicated to him. This nocturne sounds similar to Consolation no. 3 because Liszt took inspiration from it and composed his Consolation. I hope this helps!

The Nocturnes, in my opinion, are 'real' piano music. The true beauty of the piano, and its capabilities, are present - as if the piano were made for them just as much as they were made for the piano. This piece is so moving. It's definitely one of my very favorite Nocturnes, if not THE favorite, but they're all so good. I'm a classical pianist for over 40 years now, and nothing has 'trained' me better than playing Chopin's music. What a gift to the world it is. I just wish it wasn't only Europe and Asia to preserve and still appreciate classical music. In the US it just isn't a 'thing', and I think that's a real shame. This particular piece (like so many of Chopin's works) sounds like it would be rather simple; however, to the contrary, it is quite difficult. :)
@nadia-iu3ju
@nadia-iu3ju Жыл бұрын
exactly! I'm not an expert of piano and am only 16, but from my somewhat little experience I think piano sounds like piano better when playing a nocturne. Waltzes are also beautiful to hear and play, but they sound more methodical if that makes sense (sorry english is not my native language I'm aware I'm expressing myself poorly) and I find that nocturnes have that undefined and at times non-existing rhythm, and more of a sentimental vibe and they give you a sense of playing piano the way it was meant to be played, and as you said they sound so simple but really, definitely aren't. I think (or rather imagine) that there's way more effort that's put into composing a nocturne. that's just me though
@Velnox

Couldn't agree more. I'm from Canada and I wish there were more piano recitals, professional renditions of the music from the romantic era. I wish we had a Daniil Trifonov in america who could play the masterpieces of Chopin, Liszt, Schubert, etc.

I just want to say that Kassia's music has been a great inspiration to me over the past few months, last year I was barely able to play Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement and thought of piano as something my parents forced me to do... Yes, I understand what you mean, but there's actually so much more emotion in the piece if you look closer, so it makes a more hopeful impression overall. Of course, the interpretation is a matter of taste, but we have the dreamy, melancholy beginning, which becomes a little more concrete and brings out the pain more. When the theme comes for the second time, it is already a little more hopeful and it gives the impression that a little ray of sunshine has just fought its way through the clouds; it is still very thoughtful and leads into the bittersweet passage, which becomes a little more intense and desperate. Then the theme for the third time, where it is very powerful and leads into the emotional climax, in which all the passion bursts out and one reveals one's heart to the other. And then there's the final section, which is more like the beginning in terms of character, because you have doubts again and ask yourself whether it's right, but in the last few bars you realize that you no longer have to have these doubts and that everything will end well. Even if it doesn't seem that way at the moment. I have a very personal connection to this piece, which is why I might interpret it differently, but just seeing it as sad wouldn't feel right to me. But I also play the piece according to my own interpretation, so of course that comes across much more strongly than in the recordings on the Internet.
@2174863
@2174863 4 ай бұрын
@@juliahoppe6747 Yeah, of course. The piece has such a strong dynamic contrast of emotions, but I was mostly speaking in general between major and minor. Thank you for your interpretation of the piece though, adds a lot of depth and passion, I haven’t listened to much classical music recently, but i’m coming back to it.

:Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the thousands of hours you have put into perfecting your art. Chopin is...there are no words. I've played piano since I was 5. Life without music would be hollow. Those who continue the legacy of the greatest musicians in human history are some of the greatest people on this planet imo. One of the only treasures of humanity not corrupted by money, religion, politics in the age we find ourselves today. Thank you.

Kassia, if you need music suggestions, I have 2 Chopin - waltz op. 69 no. 1 or waltz op. 69 no. 2 But I really like number 2, as I think it's very underrated Love your channel, and beatiful piece ❤

Number 2 very overrated and overplayed
@kuayinghao8290
@kuayinghao8290 3 жыл бұрын
@@konstantin1943 i wouldn't say it's overrated and overplayed because op 69 no 2 is one of his easiest works to play, if someone really wants to get into Chopin as a beginner then they would play waltz in a minor or op 69s

You're sitting alone on the cold sand of the beach, it's early morning, the sky is dark and blue, you went there to try to see the moon, but it was too foggy all night, it's cold, you fell the wind while the waves penetrates into your soul, you look to skyline, the fog mixes with the ocean at the horizon. You don't want go back to your home, you're scared, afraid and the only thing that hugs you is the loneliness.
