Просто время такое, что никого из них не выпускают к людям - была бы соответствующая конъюнктура, так выпускали бы и конц. залы были бы наполнены до отказа слушателями наших современных великих композиторов. Но для этого нужно было бы развивать муз. школы, муз. училища, брать к лучшим преподавателям не по блату и не за большие деньги, а плодить этих лучших преподавателей благодаря системе. Кажется утопией, но опыт такой «утопии» у нашей страны уже был. Вернее, нечто более приземленное. Когда из детей можно было вытащить лучшее. А сейчас выгодно лишь сокращать население. Хотя есть силы, занимающиеся нашим прогрессом.

Well in order to add strings, one needs to sacrifice a lot of the expression through tempo. But yes, this piece almost begs for strings. It has been a Hollywood movie staple since forever to "shamelessly" add strings to well known piano pieces and I can't help but love it. I would bring these in at 0:59, to let the piano breathe.
