THAT CHOP MAKES IT LOOK SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!! AMAZING
@DeadFlanders8 ай бұрын
Would it work if you purchased two windows, cut them each, not in half, but more like 60/40, and used the 60% piece of each one so that you'd get a much wider windshield? You'd still need a trim piece down the middle, but that's not that uncommon on older cars, is it?
@t.g.9988 ай бұрын
That's what I was thinking too👍
@pat1beau8 ай бұрын
Heck yes,that’s what I would do
@CaseysCustoms8 ай бұрын
Yep, is the plan 👍 50 Oldsmobile glass is 1 piece instead of the 50 Chevy that’s 2 pieces, so the plan is get 2 Oldsmobile windshields and use 60% of each one and have a strip down the center where they will join, just like a stock 50 Chevy but it will be wider.

One of the coolest things about all of the older rides is the fold-out vent window stop breaking the damn things
@CaseysCustoms8 ай бұрын
Awe, did you think the glass breaking in the vent window made the vent window bad? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the glass is glued in on these, the vent window frames were taken out of the car and will be reused after the chop is done. So, i guess, stop assuming you know damn things?

OK you got me on this one. Enough ford's. Thinking a late model GTO donor for a 50s 50s Chevy short bed step side P.U. for you next body swap. Any interest? Really like to see you use the C5 transaxle somewhere. Gives better weight transfer. Maybe into a 80s El Camino with a warmed up SBC. That would be cool. Torque tube etc.
