For more than a decade, Tommy Baker has led a group of week-end bikers on rides literally all across America. Along the way, he decided they should call themselves "The Ice Cream Men From Hell." He designed a patch and gave the 'colors' to the riders he thought were worthy. They weren't an official Motorcycle Club, but maybe - one day - they'll try. That day has finally arrived. Baker put together the quintessential biker journey - a biker boot camp - to see if he and his buddies had what it takes to be a real Motorcycle Club - an M.C. - an American M.C. Getting seventeen men, from all walks of life and three states together is the first mission - and it doesn't go smoothly. Once they do all meet up and start riding together - five minutes in, one of them goes down.

22 years old, riding my 90 electraglide, fresh off of getting rear ended on it, so the bike was covered in battlescars. I was on my way home from Virginia to Ohio. I had separated from the guys I was riding with because I was taking the highway home to get back to work. They were taking the scenic route. I saw bikes in front of this bar in Virginia, so I stopped for lunch. I was talking to the guys sitting next to me. They asked me who i ride with. I said I ride free, far less drama that way. I said who do you ride with, and the guy turned around to reveal his angels patch. I was nervous. They asked about my bike, I told them it was the wrecked one and it happened a few days ago. They loved it and told me to leave it the way it was and not fix it. Long story short, I told them I was getting on the highway to make up time getting to Ohio. They asked how much time are you making up? They said they knew a short cut they would show me. I took them up on it. The short but was an average speed of between 90 and 100 up route 81. Totally crazy. I separated from them around West Virginia and got caught in the worst rain I have ever been in, but that is a nother story...

I don't ride anymore, maybe someday I will again. Back when I rode, our group was mostly Harleys. But some exceptions were made. And the non'-harley riders were never looked down on! You just had to have the love to ride. If that trip to Portland is ever presented to you, ride with them and ride proud! It's for God and Country! I would, even if I had to follow in my pick-up, but I live on the opposite side of the country. Where I'm at, we are showing our support of Trump in Flotilla's. Check out Trump Flotilla's on youtube. If you don't have a bike, well, it's the next best thing!

Been a 40 yr lone rider xcept with family or MIL bud on many occasions. Still in MIL I Ran into Hells Angels grp one time at campground where I rode in for the night....on a jappo bike no less before my "affordable" HD days. I was treated well and with respect...was offered "cold ones" and met many like thinkers...and much story tellin'. Years later walked into a private Bandito's B'Day bash in Eureka Springs, AR....and was treated great. Great conversations...goodiesand was introduced to several honcho's. Never felt intimidated or put down on either occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed the comraderie that comes with the "open road" happenings along one's journey. RESPECT is a 2 way street! Being Stupid and mouthy...in any crowd...is a 1 way ticket to a can of whoopass...waitin' to be opened...!

They came to Missoula,MT in 1998. There were about 200 of them. Never really caused problems. Just wanted to hangout for the weekend. The people causing problems were the collage kids. in the late 70s my dad met a hells angel, the guys bike was broke down on the side of the road. my dad was a mechanic plus he loved riding even though he was awful at riding, he crashed alot lol. he stopped and helped the guy fix his bike. the guy put a gun to him after lol and told him he had to come with him. he thought my dad was a undercover cop. so my dad went with him and they hung out, he became friends with a bunch of them. he said the use to always have a bike for him to ride when he came around, you could pick out most women that were shared. drink all night. he had a vest they gave him but i dont think it was a fully official one. and then i was born and he wanted to get away from it. eventually the police raided their chapter and they moved to california anyways. my dad said he burned the vest because he said if another crew had ever saw it he would be in deep trouble. he told me a couple of really bad incidents he witnessed.

I drove truck cross country for almost 40 years. In that time I have been in ALOT OF BARS that the local 1% club would stop by, had a girlfriend working there or they owned the bar! I drank & partied with a lot of clubs in different states and what they ALL THOUGHT me was as long as you give respect you receive respect and I’ll tell you I had some FANTASTIC TIMES & met ALOT OF COOL PEOPLE!!! I lived down the street from a HA og growing up. It wasn't the best neighborhood. After I left the house, my mom had a few weirdos in the front yard in the middle of the night on separate occasions. She called our neighbor, and he was out there from up the street within 30 seconds telling them to get the fuck off his street. I respect the police and the work they do, but I would of called him first too.
