Chopping my GIANT Monstera in half!

I’ve been growing this gigantic Monstera Deliciosa in my New York City apartment for 4 years now. It has finally outgrown the space and taken over the entire living room so the time has come to cut it up and propagate it!

I am so glad you did not cut that gorgeous top cutting. It takes so long to grow one like yours with those beautiful holes. I hope you propagated the one you cut off, someone will love and enjoy it. The corner does look beautiful!

Yes, I loooove the top cut! I couldn’t bear to let it go? It’s the perfect size! When it hits the ceiling I will reevaluate 😂

It was definitely difficult, but everytime I walk by the space I feel a sense of relief so it was definitely for the best.

Your plant look better for the space. It’s Joy and Happiness. Less leaves to wash. I do not like cutting my big gorgeous plants either. 🪴Happy Planting🌿
