@gameyogo6 жыл бұрын
ABHIS Is bc time is money
@baconsogood4545 жыл бұрын
Doesn't need to be short and sweet, but you also don't want a lot of wasted time in the tutorial. This was a nice tutorial but there was way too much wasted time in here. Him slicing up the file (we didn't need to see all of that, he could have edited 90% of that out). Same with setting up the piano roll, we only needed to see a few seconds of that, the rest was a waste of time.

cause it's fun to figure shit out by yourself dude :) sure, u can approach it systematically and really try to get the sound down, that you hear in your head but if you fuck around and experiment you can get something, you would have never come up with otherwise

@NIKK BKVKK dope tutorial man! Wondering what if you decided to change the tempo of the project at a later stage... Would this affect the timing of the chops or will it automatically auto-stretch them to make fit for the new chosen BPM?
@jokeymonkey8 жыл бұрын
@ NIKK BLVKK Hmmm yeah I thought so man! I think its a major flaw which if fixed will change the game! What would you recommend doing if you decided to change the BPM? Would you just go back and manually change things, e.g. Drums pattern to suit the tempo? Because I can't think of any other fix!

CAN YOU CHOP THE SONG OR SAMPLE BY BARS OR WHATEVER AUTO INSTEAD OF MANUAL?
@61akra125 жыл бұрын
Yes. Click the regions button in Slicex. There is an Auto-Slice option. The Grid slicing options will create regions by bars/beats. The Auto-Slicing options will create regions by down phases.

Even though it’s a to Torio we would like to see it actually work to the smoothness that you’re talking about. Although you have more control it seems like there’s more work to have to get a smooth again.

First off great video! Is there any way for slicex to slice a portion I've highlighted into 16 equal pieces? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!
@61akra125 жыл бұрын
Yeah man, Click the "Regions/Markers" button, and in the menu, there is an option that says "Auto-Slice". The S/M/L Grid-Slicing will chop automatically at quarter/half/full beats. I use this then go back and then manually adjust the region markers back & forth if they're not matched up so well. The Dull/Medium/Sharp Auto Slicing options will chop it up based on auto-detecting the down phases (I don't really use this. I've heard it's good for just plain drum samples, not so much for full-on samples with multiple instruments.)
