Where does God command Christians or where in scripture can we find Christians worshipping with instruments? You stated " we play in your name" but God never ask Christians to play anything Only sing ( ephesians 5:19, colossians 3:16, hebrews 2:12, hebrews 13:15, James 5:13). You can't use old testament worship practices because we're under a better covenant (hebrew 8:6) that system has past away. 2chronicles 29:15-30 was the order of service under the old covenant. Instruments were used during the burnt offerings, when the offerings was finish: the levites who were the only ones allowed to play instruments during this time frame STOP and everyone bowed their heads and sung praises to God. It's sin to offer something God never told you to offer, Just as Cain was rejected for Giving something God never ask for, all who follow that example will be rejected.

Furthermore lets not play like this doesnt go on during the service...me myself being young and 19 loves to watch the musicians go forth on the instruments , lets not forget the word says "praise him on high sounding cymbals" but still some young folks do it for other reasons...now lets be good black folks and act as 1 unity and stop making it seem like everyone is going against each other because who is going to lift us up but us ...There is a way to doing things...I love all equally and have seen every one of those same musicians play in person and know several of them..Remember the word "hate" is strong lets lessen the value of that word and find something other than someone always trying to hate on someone when in fact the people of christ should never do.... this was at the tail end of the service. They weren't being disrespectful to the movement of the church. Musicians are just that. Musicians. Atmosphere setters. If the pastor didnt want them to play they wouldnt be playing. After service my church usually gathers a crowd cause we start playing praise breaks. It's more in admiration of the God given gift. The amount of work put into learning the gift and perfecting is something special to see.
