The chord progression is very melodically emotional and beautiful but I feel like crying by seeing your studio, equipments and setup and looking at myself. Man, what else a musician want ? And those pictures on the wall looks so perfect. I mean all the work is nicely done. I nearly watched like 10 times from 0:01 to 0:45.❤️

I was painting a clients kitchen and he hops on his concert grand piano and started playing. I wept like a little baby, I was trying to hide but at the same time I wanted more. It was so deeply healing to my soul. Neal Schon of Journey has some of those qualities to his guitar. The solo on Winds of March just after the B-3 solo is amazing! Thanks for showing this aspect of music, beautiful!

@ianmiller41955 жыл бұрын
@@ellistheshredlord8077 the explanation is in roman numerals, with 1 being the root of the key. If we use a G major scale then G is 1, Am is 2, Bm is 3, etc. If the letters ar capitalized then it's a major chord and lower case is minor.

I love what you've built here on youtube. I've been playing for years and years and wouldn't have come as far with my playing without these videos. Whether it's getting frustrated trying to find chord combinations or whatever. You're a great guitar teacher not just for a those who recently picked up the guitar but also for anyone who has felt the joy of coming back to even the simplest things you thought you already knew and understanding them in a different way. You shed a lot of light on this instrument and you really love music and it shows! Plus you make me laugh till it hurts sometimes. Thank you and we all appreciate what you do! Much love! - Jason from San Antonio, Texas

Problem: Chord progressions played on the guitar will not cause one to reach for the hanky. That territory is reserved for other instruments, such as the piano, bowed instruments played in concert with one another, synths, etc. A great example of that is "Rachel Flowers Plays The Endless Enigma -- Tribute to Keith Emerson." If that doesn't bring it out of you, I don't know how to help you. That girl (blind since birth) is such a hero of mine. The guitar needs help from vocals and single notes to achieve tear-jerking. The guitar however does things that those other instruments cannot do, which is way we love it so much. _Single notes_ played on the guitar can bring one to emotional breakdown though, such as folks who can make the thing itself cry and wail, like Clapton. Officially speaking, the closest you'll come to crying as a result of listening to the guitar will be from Juliet Valduriez's cover of Lost Paradise. That's some serious crying and wailing right there.
