Dunn wasnt a showboat in college. He was deppressed in college. If you look in the videos alot of the stuff going on was the teammates jumping around him while he stood still.

yes he was going to be a 'special situation' back at best because his size wouldn't allow him to be an 'every down' player. Then they realized that because of his elusiveness, players could never get a solid hit on him which helped to preserve his nfl career. I mean how many people play as many years as him. What an amazing player. I think he was on the cover of SI his rookie year?

Alot of people might not know this, but Warrick Dunn buys new houses, and furnishes them, for struggling single moms and their families, because he and his siblings grew up in that same setting. I think he does one every year.

I remember this was my favorite highlight real of all time as a youngin, I’m 23 now and just came back to rewatch and show the homies. Sad the song had to change because of KZbin (i believe it was make it rain or numb/encore maybe? Don’t remember the exact one) but this song still goes well with the tape. This was my all time favorite tape along with Reggie bush right up until Joe Burrows senior year tape
@lulumufu16 жыл бұрын
sick mix man. can you plz make a mix of peter warrick? the ones that ppl put on youtube have been pretty weak and havent done justice for how truly great he was at FSU. thanks
@toomuchtoomuch16 жыл бұрын
For something so subjective, this isn't even debatable. He was superhuman in garnet and gold. That move in the secondary at 2:40 was an underrated play fsu's history. When was the last time we won in the OB before that dagger?
@chadkinsler98656 жыл бұрын
Dunn was a Beast , probably the best Rb ever at FSU. I’m a big Dalvin Cook fan but Dunn was special, plus Fsu offense has so many weapons in those days so he wasn’t getting a ton of carries early on
@scottiepimpin65726 жыл бұрын
These two are probably my favorite two players at FSU. I honestly can't call it on who was better. They were both great in their own way.
@WestheLegend14 жыл бұрын
Not too many guys have DUNN it better (sorry couldn't resist) than Warrick, total package, on the field he was ONE of the best running backs in FSU history, OFF the field, he's STILL one of the greatest men I have ever had the privilege of meeting. He is what you want in a football player.

He played every game as if he was 2 ft taller during his time at FSU. IF they ,'could', catch him to tackle him, he was never scared of the hit. I am glad he has one of the sealed lockers. More so, I am glad I was a student during his playing days..

I know he was depressed cause his mom was killed right before he got to FSU. but for some reason I remember him as the Barry Sanders type who never celebrated after a score. just hand the ball to a ref and come off the field.

I think that this is just awesome that he was recruited to play defense, he played QB and CB in high school, not running back, he came into FSU off of the death of his mother and asked for one chance to play RB and he couldn't be stopped!

The "few" good players huh? Must be a Um or UF fan. FSU put out WAAAAAAAAAAY more than a "few" good players. They been puttin out pro bowlers since the mid 80's
@crazydonat3016 жыл бұрын
i will not disagree with you. although, i am gunna say that reggie bush would be more productive outta the gun formations. say an eagles type offense. i say this because look at what the rams did with marshall faulk and the eagles with westbrook. it just seems bush is not the right back for the saints offense. and he is what you would call an hybrid. a lil bit of a runner, and lil bit of a receiver. the saints offense is meant for a rb like mcallister, or peterson type, not a bush, dunn type.

Once FSU can get a TB in the backfield Warrick Dunn was, things will be okay. We also need an offensive coordinator, who was just as good as (if not better than) Mark Richt!

Reggie is not a real RB.He's more of a pass catching back like Larry Centers when he was in Arizona.Explosive? evasive? the nfl is about longevity and toughness.I have been a Saints fan for 17 years, iam used to extreme disapointment and bad decisions made by this organization.Big mistake giving this guy all that money.Even at Age33 I'd trade Reggie for someone good and bring in Warrick.
