After the second touchdown, it was like this is possible and the crowd started to come alive. And that's why you're an idiot who doesn't understand anything about football. Is that what you call what they have and do now? OT? Football? I have never watched an OT college football. If teams are tied at end of regulation, I turn it off, and pencil the game in as a TIE!! The way it is suppose to be. You simple minded lemmings can't handle it so you need someone else to give you a definitive result to the game by way of some stupid FIFA shootout OT bullshit!!!!
@ronaldtaylor20063 жыл бұрын
@@aspenrebel That wasn’t necessary to call them an idiot. They created overtime so someone could win.
@aspenrebel3 жыл бұрын
@@ronaldtaylor2006 yes, it was necessary, and you're one of them by way of your "they created overtime so someone could win" comment. Inference: so someone can lose, as well. If it so important for someone to win (vs a tie), then tell the coaches and players to try harder, play better, be smarter & tougher, and score more points in regulation. Or in the alternative, have the NCAA call up one of the head coaches and tell him to lose on purpose in regulation. If ending in a tie is so abhorrent to everyone's pee brain. What would be the diff between that vs losing in that stupid "isn't football" overtime crap they do. Which basically comes down to luck, or who screwed up, to determine who loses. But since you are incapable of comprehending a tie, then there is no point in even saying anything. Just keep drinking the Kool-Aid, and be sure to keep your mask on while you're doing it. I'm sure all the powers to be will take care of all your necessities over your entire life.

Clyde Allen was my neighbor. Great guy. Went to the 2013 reunion game with him. Sitting in the stands surrounded by and talking to the heroes of that 1993 team with my son was one of the greatest experiences! Getting to watch the Noles with Winston and Benjamin, and Dalvin Cook while sitting with the former Champs from 93 wasn't bad either. I remember Winston taking off and throwing a block for Cook 25 yards down field that sprung Cook for the TD. One of the players in the stands from the 93 team said, "That was a hiesman move right there" Prescient...GO NOLES!!! FOR LIFE!!!

That was an awesome game. As a Florida State fan I was feeling mighty disheartened after 3 periods, but I said, "Well, let's see if they can at least make the final score more respectable." They did that and then some! Had to watch on TV. I did see the Miracle at Memorial in person, where Cal trailed Oregon 30-0 late in the 2nd quarter and rallied to win 42-41.

As a Vol fan who lamented all the losses to Florida in the 90s and the rivalry they created, I don't think anything tops the decade long war between FSU and Florida. Their games in the 90s were peak competition.

This was the last game I ever saw in person before my family up and left Tallahassee for good and moved all the way across the country to Seattle, Wa where we and I have lived since and never looked back. But goddamn if this game in particular doesn't resonate with me on the good ole' years of the Bobby Bowden era. From 1982 to 1994 I saw more games @ Doak Campbell then I can count, some amazing wins and some heartbreaking losses but never in my life will I EVER forget this game. But now that I live in Seattle and am a proud graduate of U of W there is no team in this country I will root for harder than my Huskies, FSU gave me some great memories as a child but my loyalty now lies with the Dawg Pound. Nevertheless this game will live in infamy for the Florida Gators and their despicable fan base of years gone by. Choke on that you central Florida fuckers!!!

I was at this game. A lot of you may not understand why FSU people were excited about this game. We were down 31-3. As you could hear from the announcer boy, people had pretty much given up on us. We fought back and scored 28 unanswered TDs to tie it. They say that Bowden was weak for choosing to kick the PAT after the 4th TD, but this team was on a roll. Along with a lot of us at the game, he expected another score by Kannell. This tie felt a lot like a win, because it took a win away from the hated gators.Sure, it would have been great to win, but we did not/NOT leave with a loss.

Yeah, cuz nowadays they don't let them play football. All they want them to play is pattycake. They may as well all be running around in pink polka dotted dresses, playing no contact, no tackle flag football. Pathetic, Refs calling penalties every other play for every stupid little thing. You look at guy, brush up to him and they throw a flag .. INTERFERENCE!! So teams gets a 40 yard first down for doing nothing. So that's what you like? That's what you call football? What a moron!! Now you can't even touch the QB or you get a penalty. How many times have I seen defenders NOT want to hit the QB for fear of a penalty, then QB runs for a big gain.

By contrast, while Mark Richt was at UGA he never lost a game in Atlanta against GT. He took his 6-5 team and beat #7 GT in Atlanta, and his team overcame a 20-0 deficit to win at GT. Both of his losses to GT came at home, on the same calendar day (November 29).
