YEEESSSSS!!! You finally tried Abuelita! Like 10 years ago I worked at a museum which had a lot of cultural events, so I think it was on Cinco De Mayo in our Mexican village exhibit, that they were celebrating and serving up freshly made Abuelita. All day long, my staff was going crazy for it. So I eventually went to try it and it has been the ONLY hot chocolate I drink ever since. I've even made Abuelita ice cream which is uh-mazing. Just make homemade regular vanilla ice cream and while it's mixing, add in one instant powder pack of Abuelita, so good! I even found out that in my local grocery store, H-E-B, they sell their store brand, H-E-B Hot Cocoa Mexican Style pods for Keurig's, that tastes really similar which makes it so convenient too. Love Abuelita!!!

For the hot chocolate my family always boils water with a couple cinnamon sticks then we add the abuelita bar once all is melted we add a can of evaporated milk. Delicious 🤤 had some this morning.

My 2 sisters and I, had chores for a week at a time. We had a much smaller house too. Our rotation went like this. Living Room with the Formal Dining Room, from there, we went to the kitchen, then the Bathroom and a half, with all trash. Growing up in the mid 60's, 70's & early 80's. We only had a 2 bedroom house. I use to just use cooking oil and Q Tips to get the squeak out of the doors, and I never took the thing out of the hinge. Worked for me. Crystal, I love your relationship that you have with your children.

I love abuelita! Grew up on it in my Hispanic household ❤ I also do hot chocolate using the Goya chocolate ( could find it in supermarkets or Walmart ) add a cup of evaporated milk ( measurements depends on how many people ) could add cinnamon as your making it. Might sound weird but in my household we add what we call “queso de papa” which is potato cheese, once we serve our hot chocolate and a piece of sweet bread on the side 😍😍 might make some with this snow ❄️🤣🤣

That is amazing hot chocolate! My dad used to bring it home from Mexico. Be sure and use a frother or even just a whisk twirled in the milk. So good!!

Crystal's way to fix the squeak would have worked, it just needed more spray, but doing it that way does get more over spray, so having a rag handy is definitely helpful :)

I actually boil the chocolate in a bit of water until it melts, then I add the milk and allow it to boil. So delicious!

I’m half Mexican and Guatemalan and I wanna suggest so many foods, drinks and snacks to u guys. First I suggest “antojitos” it means cravings and they are so delicious. you should try hot chocolate abuelita my way it’s also super good! boil milk and 2 cans of evaporated milk and then in a blender blend 2 chocolates with some milk and 1 can of evaporated milk then when it’s really blended add it to the hot boiling milk and stir till ready then serve super yummy!!

I grew up using WD40 on hinges. I don't remove anything. I simply spray it on the whole hinge really good and it works!!!

Now make it like this, Add a couple of cans of condensed milk with the whole milk. Then shred the chocolate down then add it to the milk. As it's warming up add a cinnamon stick to the milk. A dollop of Bella's whipped topping would go well with it also.

For your door so you don't get holes in it you put a circle plate around it so when the door goes by the wall it will hit the plate instead of the wall you did get them in the Home Depot or it just round circle plastic things with the it's called door stoppers with circles I got them all on my walls for the back of my doors and they're great I didn't get my Walmart

You could just get normal WD40 instead of the gel lube, which is for different purposes, and spray it via the normal aerosol nozzle (not the tube) directly onto the hinge and wipe off any that gets where you don't want it. The whole point of the lubricant being dispersed in a solvent is that its low surface tension ensures it flows across the whole surface area of what you spray it on (opening and closing after spraying helps speed it up). That avoids the hassle of knocking out the pins and making a mess of your hands etc. Then it takes like 10s per door.

That is one of the best hot chocolate out there. But fun fact it also comes in a syrup so you can make regular cold chocolate milk or pour it over ice cream. It’s a bit harder to find, but I find mine at Ralph’s grocery store (Krogers). Give it a try!
