Saying Thank you at the end of each video or even liking a video like this just doesn't seem like enough. I've literally never spent a penny on any youtuber, I wouldn't even consider it, but for the first time in my life, I'm going to become a patreon and subscribe to this channel because honestly, this guy is a literal God-Send. Anyone who agrees should do the same. Thank you so much Dr Bolin

Its been one year since you wrote this, but you still took the words right out of my mouth. dr. Paul Bolin literally won me an academic honor. He's the first person I ever joined a patreon to, and absolutely deserved it!

I am so happy you put this. I had chorio with my daughter and had deliver her by C section December 13th 2016...she was born at 25 weeks. I had a heart rate of 134 and I had a fever of 103. Continued to have chills after pregnancy. 4th day in the hospital my blood cultures came back with a rare staph infection and was placed on Zoyson for a couple of days and discharged dec. 19th My daughter had the infection on her umbilical cord only got her out just in time. 107 days in the NICU. She had ROP in the eyes stage 3 zone 2. And she had grade 2 brain bleed along with an inguinal hernia. I am still traumatized for what has happened to me but I am thankful that they got my daughter out in time.

Thank you for this informative video. I’m not a med student but experienced a bad case of chorio when having my daughter. She had stage 2 HIE, sepsis/meningitis, perinatal acidosis and depression, meconium aspiration, hypotension and pulmonary hypertension. She had therapeutic hypothermia after being flat for 12 minutes and it saved her brain function. Happy to say she’s a happy and healthy almost 4 year old but very traumatic thing to experience. I suffered wound infection and other complications. As significant and scary chorioamnionitis is, there’s not much good information on it so I really appreciate this video! Thank you again 🙏

In developed countries you might not have come across bad cases. I was working in tertiary center where I used to get very bad cases. The foul smell was such that every one would run away ( but for me) l often used to put drain after LSCS in such cases. There was no maternal morbidity at all, which might surprise some. All other complications were there but not puperal Pyrexia. I personally feel that those who are tackling such cases in remote area can try this

Why didn't my doctor caught this two days before my daughter death I was 31 weeks pregnant? I didn't even know I had this infection What bateria cause this infection? STDS? WHAT? I'm sorry I'm shouting but I'm highly pissed off. I'm not happy with my doctor saying this happens all the time we don't why this happen.

Sixto Gallardo Jr I’m so sorry 😐 this happened to you. I still don’t have the answers to this. It’s been a years since my daughter death and I still don’t know what caused it. I’m praying for you and if you need to talk I’m here.

@@Baybay25 I'm so sorry hun did you ever do an Autopsy i did mine and it said this was the cause the weird thing how is it that it was undetected i did antibiotics administered 3 rounds during premature rupture of membranes and still ended up with this infection. I'm now helping save other babies by having every women know about this. Not all doctors tell you the risks
@Baybay254 жыл бұрын
Sixto Gallardo Jr. at the time I didn’t do a autopsy because I didn’t know it could be done. I’ve never heard if it and nobody around me seem to know what it is.

I lost my baby during 16 week.. Suddenly water bag broken..Later on I came to know baby water membrane was infected with chorioamniotis..Is there any chance of 2nd time reoccurance of chorioamniotis? Is there any chance of short cervix ? Is short cervix can lead to chorioamniotis?
