These videos are all very well instructed, but wait a minute Sammie, What of a video of how to plug what into where, Where does the yellow cord go and what happens to other modem cords. Was told the yellow goes into the wan lan ports but what happens to the other end of this wan lan cord. I'm confused Sammie. Make me another video with the plug ins to ports. Thank you for your help. I know your techies did a perfect job and I thank them very much.

You presume that they have a modem/router and a model that supports fibre

This is so infuriating, nobody can tell me how to actually get my modem to detect the fibrebox. I was hoping this video would explain it, but no. I have an ethernet cable running from LAN1 on the ONT, to LAN1 on my modem, but the modem and computer don't detect any network other than the old DSL link, which Chorus are switching off in my street later today. Apparently you have to do something to the modem to make it able to detect an ONT, but damned if I know what it is. Tech support at 2degrees have been unable to tell me, and I can't find any instructions on the Chorus website. It pisses me off that I have all the hardware in place, I'm paying for fibre, yet from later today I probably won't have the internet anymore because nobody can tell me how to actually make the internet work through the ONT and modem.
