Sorry, but Maddie needs to get off the drugs, off the streets n be a Mom. She has kids who need her. I feel that once you decide to have a child, that's your responsibility to be the best parent ever. When they're raised, go back to the streets if you decide but she is acting like a teenager at this point. Im not being cold hearted. I understand addictions totally but this really is messed up. Its her parents time to be empty nesters....not hers.

That is something that bothers me a lot, also with Becky! She also has kids, it is sad how much energy and money they waste for Drugs not for the kids! But they were not in this place if Drugs had not such severe grip on them! Addiction is so strong ! Like this they would be no good for the kids either! Maddie waste away there...her hair got thin, she got so thin, her skin gets worse (and I don't want to sound mean I just want to talk real here how much Drugs take away from them) It is not a nice life out there by any means, it is a vicious cycle!

I'm right with ya and a single mother myself. I work 80 hours a week and multiple jobs to support my family. I am also in recovery. Giving them money that goes right into their veins is called enabling and it's that simple. Even food gift cards they will sell for a fraction of the price to get a bag.

Recovering dope addict..It took me awhile to get off it.. best thing for me was methadone..not saying it's for everyone..but it saved my life..hopefully Maddie finds her way..god bless..unfortunately I feel all there doing right now is going through the gifts and seeing what they can sell for dope..just saying..wish them all the best..hope they get clean

I feel for these people I really do,but I'm in two minds,some I think really do want better lives,to get off drugs,take responsibility for their lives and their children and to find a job and a home,they just need help,support and resources to get them there....but others I think are entitled and just like being free of lifes responsibilities...( like the children they have brought into this world who didn't ask to be born)...in this case I think you are enabling these people by giving them money that's been donated to them to buy drugs...they then become more entitled,greedy and manipulative and the cycle continues...it becomes " look at how damaged i am,how beaten down i am and how crap my life is i deserve this money and im never going to have to change"...it doesn't force them to think about others,the people they are hurting,the children they have abandoned and how shit their children's lives might be... Drug addiction takes the cake for the most self centred,manipulative,entitled disease ive ever seen...So instead of exploiting them and giving them money,try to help the ones who really want to get off the streets with support,resources,a place to stay,a place to shower,programs,counselling ect don't just hand them money to buy drugs so you can film them next time looking even more burnt out....it's not a kind thing to do,your praying on their need for money and they are letting you film them because they are so desperate for drugs.....

I will be completely honest . I use to be so mad when people would send them donations all the time . But I’m not walking in their shoes and living their lives to struggle . I wouldn’t want my own children to end up like this . If twenty dollars helps them with food / clothes and NOT drugs . I’m for it . I just feel sometimes that when people keep opening up their hands and not wanting the help . That’s what I don’t understand. But like again , I’m not in their shoes . But I really hope eventually that these young moms get help . Their going to really miss those special moments with their kids by just staying on the street .

I keep reading comments,people saying "go to rehab" as far as I know you cant just go to rehab.you have to be sent through the court system if you have committed a crime,you might get the opportunity to go then or you have to have $1000's,thousands,of dollars to go.have things changed the last 6 years or is it different in different states? I'm asking because I truly do not know of a cheap or free rehab program.i have heard of some weekend programs but that's a joke.a weekend isnt enough time to even get all the drugs out of your system.

I lived this life in the uk for 10 years .it is a hard life so this really resonates with me ,I have been clean for 18 years now and have a wonderful life full of happiness n joy and success so I know people can change and turn their life around cos I have lived it and am here to tell the tail .I hope these guy find the love for themselves and get the help n support they need to have a good happy life clean healthy . if I can do it anyone can.this is what they need is a little bit of love n kindness to give them the boost they need to change good work and lots of love .I'm proof it can happen

I think what the guy behind the camera is doing amazing ❣❣❣❣ if more ppl out there just gave two seconds to talk to ppl like maddie and Jerryal maybe these ppl who are put there and dont have much other choices or opportunity , do to circumstance , tragedy or environmental and economic circumstances.
