I'm the 5th generation of Tarm Sarm, I never cared for forms unless combat form, I still have Lun Chee document of the history and the combat code, I love palms and the chop choy and the forearms, put people down quick 👍 "Fut Gar" for life

clearly a very well trained and skilled person within this style. I've only seen a few videos on this style so far. It's arm movements seem very extended and wide. Could someone explain why this is so?
@senhorincognito22434 жыл бұрын
To understand the movements, basically. The advanced forms are said to be smaller.
@622PSS10 жыл бұрын
I always wonder if it is better to vary the rhythm (faster / slower and harder / softer whereever necessary without compromising the fluidity) and / or take very short pauses during the perfomance of traditional martial arts. It facilitates both appreciation and application of Choy Lee Fut. The latter means the practioner fully understands the combos incorporated in the forms, and thus displays and applies them, even in performace.

Very nice video guys! I especially enjoyed the Asian Grand-Master demonstration. One can see that even though his moves were not as fast as the younger gentleman's, the Older Grand Master's flow of Chi and depth of the Art rang volumes throughout my inner being. Real Grand Masters are not into flashiness their only interest is being highly effective as we've seen here. Ous!

Man, I will tell ya, I appreciate how much they respect their elders in China. It is really too sad that the during the communist revolution the Chinese government hunted, jailed and killed as many martial artists and especially masters they could put their hands on. So much was lost during that time. Its good to see you can now at least practice Kung Fu in public.
