Choy Li Fut crane set

Learned CLF's crane form today. Definitely need to fine tune it, but I enjoy the set.

@@drchango2010 a couple actually. It's referring to the same set though. Going through some of my teacher's auxillary forms and a chunk of 'em are LKH CLF. Just trying to figure where the drunken moniker came from

That makes a lot of sense, now that I think about it. The foot work in part of the form resembles the "Eight Drunken Immortals" section in our Hung Gar lineage's version of Tiger-Crane.

@@drchango2010 Im wondering if maybe the name may have changed at a certain point, or if it was an alternate name in the past? Just speculation at this point, but it does seem odd that several people use that alternate name.

orihx3 yup, learned it by watching an old vid of Tat Mau Wong (this vid was after memorizing the form start to finish.) I've since been receiving guidance from Sifu Joe Keit, who was also a student of Li Koon Hung. There were a lot of details I had missed.

Awesome! I learned this set over a decade ago from Sifu Wong. Glad to see you are getting refinement from Sifu Keit, another top notch teacher. Do you live in Florida?

Shifu Keit seems to be a great teacher and fighter. I learned from Shifu Man Fai in Seattle China town. I live about 6 hours from Sifu Keits school and have thought about visiting his school to train a few times a year. It would be worth the trip.
