@@SuperSeytan666 Pretty sure OP meant lattice as in the texture of something. If you look at a lattice fence, it has a criss cross pattern similar to the edge of a smashburger pressed onto the grill with a flat iron.

😅kids menus in the uk are typically just opportunities for disappointment, it’s almost always nuggets, fish fingers, burgers all served with a choice of baked beans or overcooked peas, chips or mash. & they’ll occasionally have a cheese pizza & a spaghetti with tomato sauce. Usually the cheapest quality of nuggets, burgers & sausages, cause y’know, “kids don’t count as customers”. 😢

I think that could help a lot of visitors to find the best places for food.

Around Portland OR there's loads of carts and restaurants that have glammed up versions of everything, but I can't think of many examples of an over the top "kids" meal. Though we did lose a lot of our food diversity to COVID closure, and struggles downtown. The Metro area are holding out strong though.

There’s a great smash burger at The Den in Koenji. Also, per a previous video, there’s a unique burger shop called Chatty Chatty near Gyoemmae station that has a fantastic Pastrami burger.

Having recently visited Blacows myself.. I can confirm BEST burgers (so far) in Japan! I have enjoyed both the Smash Burger and Golden Ratio Burger, both of which were absolutely and perfectly delicious. I too was impressed at how well they hold together! Well worth a visit for any burger lover in Tokyo! Have a nice afternoon out in the beautiful Ebisu, take a brewery tour and cap it off with a burger at Blacows! Perfection! Great video, chaps!

Smash burgers all the way. The extra surface area to create that Maillard reaction (the browning on the surface of the meat) means more square inches of Flavortown. Not that I'd turn down the standard burger at all. But the smash is the way for my tastebuds. Subscribed!
