Had the distinct pleasure of spending a couple nights with our old friend, the always entertaining and always writing songs, Chris Acker. I was in New Orleans filming with Esther Rose for her new album, and needed a place to rest my head. Chris was kind enough to offer his space, and we spent the nights drinking beers and watching the Bruce Willis classic The Last Action Hero on his living room VHS player. In between those sessions we managed to grab this song, which I find to be one of his best.
The astute viewer will catch some very distinct memorabilia in this video. The GemsOnVHS expanded universe is deep with history, lore and easter eggs, isn't it?
